Nice and modern place to stay, clean room, comfy beds, big TV, silent AC.
Though breakfast was very poor. No eggs, no hot waffles and only two bags of porridge at the time. Same thing happened next morning as well.

We came from Arizona to take a trip to Universal Studios- the drive to Universal (it was only 12.5 miles away or so) took about an HOUR given the awful LA traffic. BUT as far as the quality of the hotel - it was wonderful. They are currently re-modeling some rooms so there is construction and we were warned about possible noises but we didn't hear anything our whole stay (even though we saw them using the tools). The "receptionist" if you will was very knowledgeable and helpful! Our room was clean, modern, updated, and well worth the reasonable price. I would stay here again on our next trip for sure and recommend it to others. :)

Decent place to stay. New flooring furniture beds, Etc. Cute place, still need a little renovation on the exterior walls. Decently safe parking area, but not real big. It's a small place but nice. Only complaint was that the sink wouldn't drain

Very convenient location, modern room though small. Good price for the area. Continental breakfast provided as well as free LA Times and coffee maker in the room. Would have been five star except for unsecured parking (even if free) and confusion as to the coffee maker in the room. I had to frequently request the proper coffee pack for the unit in the room.

I LIKE THIS PLACE,..especially the climbing jasmine as you go up the central stairs, makes the whole place smell nice. The folks at the front desk are super friendly and helpful, even really late at nightwhich is a rarity. My room was perfect and clean, with plenty of outlets all round, and one of those cool "rain head" shower heads. Lots of easy parking. Oranges and cereal for breakfast

The staff was friendly and helpful. They extended my stay 1 day seamlessly although near full occupancy. The maids did a great job in their daily cleaning. A good value in the heart of Tarzana on Ventura Boulevard. I recommend it, if you need a place in Tarzana.

Although based on the outside one might decide to drive past this little hotel, if you appreciate customer service that goes above and beyond, look no further. Maggie, Marco (a guest service superstar) and Victor went the extra mile to make sure that my stay was as restful, comfortable and pleasant as possible.

I did pay the extra $ for a room upgrade (not horribly pricey) and it was completely worth it. Beautiful newly remodeled room, comfy bed and amazing shower.

Surprising little gem! Wish I'd know about it last year during two of my visits. Very spacious and clean. I stayed in king bed room, comfortable. Bathroom was impressive! I took mental notes for design ideas for when I remodel the bathroom in my rental property on the east coast. Staff was really friendly, welcoming and warm. After a long flight and having been up for nearly 48 hours straight I certainly appreciated that. Location was quiet and close to many shops and restaurants but didn't feel busy or too congested. The staff member at the front desk remarked to me about something else that "it was sign of the start of a good day!" Little did he know that the stay itself was the start of my new life here in Los Angeles! Well Done, Highly Recommended!!!

we stayed at Tarzana Inn and the next day my wife realized she didnt have her wedding ring. we called and they searched and found it. they mailed it to us. it shows their honesty and integrity. outstanding.

In my book its a five star not sure on the actual rating but it was well worth the money and at a value price i would tell anyone to stay here i will come back to this location next time i visit Tarzana, CA for sure!

The rooms are okay. Don't expect them to be up to date. The shower was kinda nasty. But the front desk was very nice.

Went over for a memorial day weekend, and stayed four nights.front desk was very helpful. Room was really updated.renovated bathroom. The room had tile through out. Very comfortable beds. Well ventilated and welcoming clean room feeling. Nice area to stay in. Definitely will stay back in the near future. Highly recommended for families. The only con was that the remote did not work and the continental breakfast room was too small. Enjoyed seeing the pool. Most of all, the price was very fair. Keep up the great service Tarzana!😃

Management went above and beyond to accommodate us for a recent 3 night stay. The room was newly renovated and very clean. I greatly appreciated the fact that the floors were tiled and not carpeted. Close parking, an enormous shower head with adequate pressure, an included continental breakfast and competitive pricing for the area definitely made for an enjoyable stay. The only drawback that I noticed were leaves in the pool. If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely choose Tarzana Inn. Thanks guys.
