This place is A pig sty, ive told them 4 days in a row about the black mold in batg, each day they said maintence would get to it. The dresser had something sticky spilled on it first time we went in. I ended up cleaning it. The furniture is never dusted. The vents inside are covered in webs. Theoutside of tge building is didty, never cleaned up. The outside ligths are covered in cobwebs. And forget about eating their breakfast unless you want to get ill. The burners are always off on the eggs so they are cold with a crust. The fruit is so old and not fresh. The pastrys taste day old. Everything is digusting, and they dont care as they are tearing down to make room for a Hampton. STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH, POORLY RUN AND MAINTAINED.

Terrible experience. I will never return. Rude reception desk worker. No heat in my room. Shower head shot water straight across to the back of the shower. I almost slipped and died. The shower curtain wouldn't stay shut so water leaked everywhere. Room 224 sucks and so does Mountain View Inn.

Great customer service at this hotel the employees is very helpful and the General Manager Jeff , Paresh and Grundge (FrontDesk) is always there to accommodate your needs. Breakfast is always served hot every morning and the guy who prepare it in the morning always does a good job I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable hotel in the area.

The Mountain View Inn is old and kind of spooky. It is rotten, there are mice in the walls! The hotel is also charming. It has lots of amenities like ping pong, good breakfasts, has croquet on the back lawn, and TV in the lobby. There are nice rooms, kids even get to have their own bed. (All of these things are based on a fiction book called Mouse & The Motorcycle) :)

The pool hours posted are not enforced We wanted to go later at night (9pm) but the representative at the desk said they closed the pool at 8. The sign out front said it was open until 10.. Otherwise, the room and amenities were alright.

Pretty typical motel. Don't expect too much but the sheets were clean. And there's a sauna if you're into that.

I paid the standard rate for a single room with 2 beds: after tax it was $188.99 one night July 2017. $120 more than the place we had planned to stay but you make some changes along the way to accommodate the many needs of a large and growing family. While unloading our bags to the second floor the boy and girl behind the counter let us know that there was no elevator. Then they did Not offer to carry any bags up the stairs, not even for my obviously pregnant wife, instead both of them stayed behind the front desk visiting with eachother.
A few days later I found that they charged us an extra $200 for smoking in the room. I called to clarify that no one had smoked in the room and the manager on duty told me I did and he knew it because his staff had smelled it. I called their corporate office to file a dispute they said may take a few weeks. Before you stay here think first: I could be stranded somewhere in the middle of nowhere with my family because they stole the money I need to get home. Luckily some people at the truckstop helped us pay for some gas to get us a little farther down the road. So far from home, mad at people who bully others and will not listen.

Location is very convenient, right on El Camino Real in the middle of mountain view. Staff was friendly and professional. Rooms were basic, but clean, which is all that we were looking for. I'd consider Mountain View Inn again the next time I need a place to sleep in the area.

Very nice and cozy Inn, with large rooms and decent amenities. Very nice staff at reception. Plenty of parking. Wouldn't mind returning here again. Perfect for business trip. Also good price.

The basics: Clean rooms, friendly staff (not all of them), comfortable bed, free wifi, location is decent based on what you came to MTV for.
The delights: Not much, cookie cutter setup, had to cross a busy street to find food, free breakfast was decent.

What a scam! What a DUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!! We booked because it was part of the Best Western Plus group . What a shock it was to arrive at 3:OO a.m. after a cross country flight to find that this shabby converted motel was charging us over $300 for the night!! I had been quoted $137.00 over the phone! Upon arrival, there were three different nightly prices----$300 for the first night, $250 for the second night and $137 for the third night. The desk clerk said it was because there were fewer rooms available for the third and second nights. WHAT???? He was unbending and just nasty----too much at 3:00 in the morning.

The room was cold and dark on a busy , noisy street, bathroom dirty, wall paper hastily thrown on the walls and , best of all, the door to the outside was actually too small for the door frame--- letting in wind and light. Our room was freezing .

Angry and incensed? You bet. I want an explanation and my money returned.

By the way, we are priority club members.

BEST WESTERN is this representative of your name ? I am reporting this to AAA and Best Western head quarters.

Nothing acceptable about this awful place but I had to give it one star in order to post my comment. No surprise there.

Room and food was ok. But that's about it. Parking is a premium so you had better get there early. They have laundry, but the stoned desk clerk had no change. Seriously? You need change to operate. Noisy location. Busy street.

The location is close to shipping and food but in an area in the middle of redevelopment. Lots of construction. Breakfast was not great and service was just OK.
