Nothing like I read on the internet or not even the room I booked. The place is old & not worth the price you pay. I have stayed in much nicer rooms for the same price we paid. Do not expect a real breakfast, there is a 'grab & go'. Coffee, tea, cocoa, fruit, packaged muffins & packages of oatmeal I think. Also make sure you bring a hair dryer! Yes I did say hair dryer. I have not needed to travel with my own hair dryer in probably 10 years. I also dont remember seeing an iron or ironing board either. Also, they do not keep coffee pots, cups (not even the ones you throw away) or any other kitchen utensils in the rooms (they have kitchenettes). You have to request them. They say its to keep cost down. Right! The air conditioning doesn't work right, its very old & doesnt run off of a thermostat. It could have been just our room & we could have said something, but we had already switched rooms once & just wanted to go to bed at this point. Good luck!
We booked a non-smoking queen room & was given a room that smelled like smoke the moment you walk in. I called the front desk using the room phone, which was very dirty & looked like it had not been cleaned in awhile. They switched rooms & the next room did not smell like smoke & that phone was little bit cleaner.
There was only 1 shower curtain that didn't look like it should get wet (no waterproof shower liner), but we had no time to call & wait for another one. This probably explains why our bathroom ceiling had water damage (from the shower above).
While getting ready, my necklace fell down the bathroom sink. The front desk said they had no maintenance at the hotel because they hired a new guy that is training. That's fine, but what happens when problems occur?
The front desk gentleman (Daniel) called the manager multiple times but she was not calling him back. I asked if they had a wrench onsite so we could open it ourselves, but he said he does not have access to any tools. We finally had to leave for our pre-determined plans. Upon leaving, Daniel asked if it was okay if he went into our room to try and retrieve my necklace & I said yes. Later that night, Daniel called & said he found it. I was very happy!
After returning that night there was no parking. The lady at the front desk said she was sorry but there was nothing she could do. The Lowe's parking lot next door said no overnight parking; we parked elsewhere & walked back. Lastly, the bed was uncomfortable!
Extended stay in San Dimas Ca. Is great place to stay. The hotel and rooms are great. Elyse was very nice and gives great customer service. I will be staying again at this hotel.
Nice affordable hotel great for family for short or long stay. They have kitchen and big bridge inside the room
It was a nice place. The double rooms are pretty big and clean. I loved the grass area in the back. I got a great view from the third floor. Plus the people at the front office were nice.
Great facility, my inlaws stayed here a while back as well and they had a great experience
No Ash trays in smoking rooms? Do they want Ash/burned carpet, or something? Accommodated a friend early in the AMno reservation & she had dogs. Continental breakfast. Relatively private for a motel. 3 floors. Facility seems to be relatively clean and insect/rodent free.
Stayed here for three weeks at the beginning of 2017. Place is at a nice location and the rates were decent. Cleanliness was okay.
It's a decent place if you need a place to stay. Staff is nice, rooms are clean, and they provide kitchen items if you need to cook. Complimentary breakfast consists of muffins, granola bars, hot chocolate and tea.
Very hospitable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.super helpful.kitchen kit is available for free upon request.laundry on-site but no ice machine as there is a full size fridge in room plus a 2 burner stove. There's 2 gas stations with stores in walking distance.several fast food and restaurants within a block. Pharmacy and drug store in half a mile
The hotel was quiet, the area is safe and the rooms are big. It is nice that the room is equipped with a small kitchen, but you have to check everything out at the front desk. And I mean everything. There wasn't a coffee maker in the room, nor was there any shampoo, soap or lotion. I guess it's not that big of a deal, but you kind of expect to get those things when you stay at even motel 6. We were also told that housekeeping wasn't available? Which is also fine, but I can see that bothering other people. We had to go down to the front desk to also get more toilet paper, when we called and told them we were out. It's all petty, first world problems, but it isn't necessarily cheap to stay here. The breakfast is coffee, hot chocolate, granola bars and muffins. Also, we had a very clogged bathroom sink, basically unusable, and we reported it on day one, but after 5 days nothing happened, but luckily we had the little kitchen sink.
Place is in a quiet neighborhood with lots of stores and restaurants around. The facility itself is old. The rooms have old carpet. Our bottom fridge didn't work and the freezer only worked as a refrigerator, nothing froze in it. Bathroom was ok, the shower/tub was a little small. Staff were nice. Might stay here again.
Basic hotel. The room seemed to be clean, the front desk staff was helpful and polite. No shampoo or conditioner in bathroom, just bar soap. Fixtures are outdated but do the job. Wifi was slow, upgraded for $4 per night. Rooms were noisy and I awoke to the smell of pot smoke in a nearby room. It is a budget hotel. But all I needed was a bed, bathroom and a microwave. So it worked fine.
Not impressed. Quite expensive for having no gym, no pool, no hairdryer, no in room coffee maker, and housekeeping that is available only if a 7+ day stay is booked. Included breakfast was pretty bad - no variety and the same every day. Only basic cable available - no option to even buy a show or movie. Pet friendly - it smells like it too. Positive things included the in room kitchen, the generally quiet neighborhood. I stayed here because I was working in the area for 2 weeks. I wouldn't choose to stay here again.
Clean Rooms, Reasonable Rates. Overall good place to stay.
Rooms are nice, well layed out. Service is good and helpful
This hotel is the worst. We didn't stay, but visited our parents who were in town from Oregon. Here's an easy-to-follow list as to why you should NEVER book here:
1. Prostitues frequent the parking lot and seem to have permanent residence.
2. Trash is stored in the hallways
3. You have to PAY for your towels. Period.
4. The bathrooms are disgusting. Not even "so old there's no way they can be cleaner" but literally DISGUSTING. Hair, scum, GUM in the tub?!
5. The curtains, chairs, blankets, towels, sheets ALL stained
6. Their bedroom door handle was broken? WTF
And last but not least,
7. The room wasn't ready until 6pm and my elderly parents (who drove 15 hours to get here) were not allowed to use the lobby restroom while they waited.
I wouldn't stay here for free.
Attended an event in the meeting room hosted by a guest. Room was great. Staff was helpful. Cannot say enough!
The place seemed ok. I must have gotten one of the last rooms because I was booked into a handicapped room. Shortly after arriving at the room I noticed a flea. I should have left then. Sometime before sunrise I had enough. Fleas were everywhere. I notified the front counter and left just in time to see a skunk cross the parking lot, headed for the trash. I don't mind the skunk so much, but the flea infestation was unbearable. Still I would not have written this if the hotel had called me to refund the room cost.
