Just like when you go to any other Marriott the service is impeccable to match TV rooms that always exceed your expectations. The room lyrics bigger than what I am used to with Marriott very spacious very clean and had everything that you needed. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful. She did everything she could to assist us to make sure that the process of the room and our stay was smooth for the whole trip.

Great property near The Observatory in Orange County! A mix of business and leisure travelers and you never know who you might run into. Rooms are very comfortable with good amenities. Housekeeping does a phenomenal job of keeping the rooms clean. Only minor complaint is that they have a shared ventilation system in the bathroom which means if someone smokes you can smell it in your room. Food at The Bistro is decent and they offer Starbucks coffee and beverages. The pool and hot tub are perfect if you want to catch a few rays and it's rarely crowded. Staff is great and treat every guest like a VIP! I love visiting for a "staycation" that's just a few miles from home.

Nice property but Very Disappointed with Service
The property itself is nice. I paid $129/night for two nights. After the first night, My wife and I left the room around noon so we called and requested housekeeping services. We were told the housekeeping staff were on lunch but would clean afterwards. When we returned to the room around 4pm, the room was not cleaned. I called to request housekeeping services but was put on a long hold of over 2 minutes before I could request it. My wife suggested I call back when we were heading out again. I called back around 6pm and was told the housekeeping staff was gone so my room never got cleaned. We checked out after that night.

I've stayed here a number of times over the years. The place has a good feel and the rooms are nice. The pool area is better than you'd probably expect and it's a short drive west to the beach. While the parking is convenient, it is not free as it indicates in the amenities section and will run you $10.

Great hotel with all the amenities I've come to expect with Courtyard - clean, nice atmosphere/decor, great pool. You know what you are getting with Marriots. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because there wasn't any restaurants walking distance like some Courtyards. There is a mall close by.

The employees were wonderful. We had ants get into our car from a tree we parked under and a house keeper came out and cleaned our car for us. The front desk remembers us and engaged with our kids each time we passed. It was clean and quiet. My one critique is that it doesn't seem like the security is very strong.

I am at this hotel, which is in Santa Ana, right now. My husband booked it after I had asked him to book the Marriot in Irvine. He tried to change the reservation a few minutes later, and Marriot refused, so we are stuck here. It is an industrial area of Santa Ana, surrounded by mattress outlets and fast food chains. Not sure why it's called Costa Mesa. Very disappointed Think carefully before you click confirm, because there is no going back if you made a mistake. Their customer service is unforgiving.

Decent furnishing and decoration. Slightly dingy carpeting. No fridge or microwave in room, sneaky 10$ parking fee (plenty of spaces in an unpopulated part of town), 5$ charge for decent wifi. Hefty security deposit.

My fiancee and I have been to L.A. from B.C. Canada every spring in the past few years, staying at other Marriott's in LA (Marina del ray) and other lodgings with much higher prices/features. Of all the places we've stayed (oceanfront, hillside, $$$), the friendly staff and general cleanliness at your location were among the best we experienced at all levels. Very surprised, and we will return.

Staff at the restaurant and bar made our stay extra enjoyable! I will definitely be back! It was a pleasant surprise. Lots of character, warm and friendly. Both my friend and I agreed. We ended up having all of our meals there.
