Clean, quiet and very nice. The included breakfast is wonderful and the cooks are sweet and helpful. Had a wonderful stay!

Best hotel value in Ventura. 2 blocks to Main St where you'll find shopping and many restaurants a multiplex movie theater and the Ventura Mission. Deep sea fishing, 4 golf courses and of course the famous pier and beach with in minutes walking or driving from the hotel. If you're going to be in the area pick Best Western Plus Inn of Ventura, you won't be sorry.

The place is a little remote hotel at the middle of downtown that I would have never even thought of until my wife booked it for our wedding night. The ac is amazing! The room is clean and the bed is comfy. To top it off they serve a wide array of breakfast items that most hotels strayed from over a decade ago. I was very surprised to be able to have eggs, sausage, ceral, any bread and pastry with nice coffee and even fresh waffles! This place is great and highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay here overall. It was a bit noisy in the weekday evening as there were a number of work crews staying there. However, management did offer that should that occur again, we need only to call the front desk and they will take care of it. Rooms were clean and well cared for, staff were friendly, and the breakfast staff were incredibly on top of everything, and had great interactivity with guests. I would appreciate if management would allow a tip jar in the breakfast area because they earned it! Breakfast was good too!

I understand the hotel recently received a facelift. The rooms are very attractive. My corner room was large, but unfortunately faced the train tracks. The trains do run all night.

Complimentary breakfast was ample and hot.

Location is the best - walking distance to Main Street downtown, the pier and the beach.

Nice to have a no smoking and no pet hotel, plus no carpet in the room. Everything great - but the one negative was that the floor in our room needed washing. The breakfast was great - and nice to have the beans with the eggs as an alternative to sausage for vegetarian guests - and this added the California touch to the morning routine. The staff and the breakfast were terrific - and hats off to the breakfast staff who managed with all the customers. It would also be convenient to have a laundry for the guests to use - as a Best Western Plus. Overall the stay was very good.

While traveling the coast we stayed at the Best Western in Ventura. Everything and everyone was very nice. A special thanks to Cindy who was working the morning we were checking out. She went above and beyond helping us. Even found us a room at our next stop and booked it for us. That was great to be able to have fun knowing we already had a place waiting. Highly recommend . Just ask for Cindy (Owensboro ,Ky)

Facility completely updated. Room spotless. Bed comfortable. Location great to walk to downtown. Breakfast had hot and cold items, all fresh and well stocked. Please note- railroad tracks run behind tbe hotel ..First AM train comes by at 5 am with hornsthen daily commuter trains. Also you can hear freeway. So Rooms at the back are more noisy..didn't bother us. We had 2nd floor room and while it overlooked the freeway, we also had ocean and pier view from a small dinette table in room. We will definitely stay there again.

Upon arrival to this hotel, I was a little worried because of the area. It seemed a bit shady. Then the hotel looked a bit like a Motel 6 from the outside. However, the actual hotel room was very clean and had a nice comfy bed. The decor was new and we were pleasantly surprised.
The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Nice environment. Quick book but nice pick. Express check out is convenient. Breakfast area cozy with verity chooses. A bit sad the spa area was under-construction during my stay. No gym but they kindly provide some self indoor workout eq.

A lovely surprise! The exterior of the hotel is pretty average, and it's on a busy street, but when we got to our room we were very pleasantly surprised by the new and tasteful decor, the spaciousness, and the little extras (microwave, fridge, two writing areas). The toiletries were top notch, and everything was very comfortable, especially the bed. The location was perfect for walking to Main St where there are lots of nice shops and restaurants, plus more options within a short walk in either direction. Access to freeway was great, breakfast buffet had a decent selection and variety, and the hot food was good. We appreciated the fresh fruit too. All in all, a very pleasant stay.
