Is this a museum? No, it's just a fashion powerhouse with all of the top name brands you may or may not have heard of, but if you're into fashion then you need to know. They have shoes that belong in museums, with their exceptional artistic design. If you are looking for real fashion, and not just cookie cutter recycled styles that are equivalent across all of the lower brand stores and their competitors (such as forever 21 and h&m). The prices match, so don't expect any affordable bargain prices here. That's not the kind of place this is.

Horrible service. I bought two pairs of boots, sales man promised boots will be delivered to my hotel, which is about 0.5 mile away, by 8pm the same day. But I didn't receive anything and had to call back to check., I called three times and have been put on hold for 6 times before I could spoke to someone.

The fur trade is unforgivable. Analy electorated captive animals in atrocious conditions and horrific health..prolonged everyday worse than the last till they get skinned alive for some desperate human needing to feel important. It's pathetic. It's outdated. When you know it's wrong and you still do it is not ignorant-it's sick, cruel, bloody, and you're responsible. Stop fueling fur farms that are straight up illegal. It's 2017, time to wake up. Fashion is not about wearing torture.

A NYC institution. Only the best of the best of the world's fashion houses, for men and women, are sold here. Helpful, discrete service. As the saying goes: "Bergdorf's is so understanding."

This store is eclectic. A must see. Everything you can imagine and more. Just love the decor, if only to admire. The restaurant is a hidden oasis waiting for that special occasion to celebrate in the heart of New York City. The food and wine is excellent and the waitstaff is top notch. Make reservations and bring your credit card.

I don't get her too often, except to look in the windows! It's gotten more expensive than it ever was! Who can afford to spend 7000 on a dress? I certainly can't, fun to look and the windows are dreamy, beautiful store, great staff but not for you, unless you work at a Hedge Fund.

My favorite department store in the world. Every inch of this shop is quality and creativity. A must, when visiting marvellous NYC. Next stop? Central Park, of course; directly across the street.

Any review under 5 stars doesn't fully appreciate what's going on here.

For an impressive history lesson - check out the wiki entry.

If you're a frequentor- then there's a good change you're not checking out this review. If you've never heard of this place - treat yourself to a slice of NYC commercial opulence.

I came here for the first time to get a makeover with my boss downstairs. Oh boy! Was it ever fancy. They gave us little face massages, and bubbly water (with the option of champagne). I basically just laughed the whole time while someone else beautified me. Had a ball. And I looked like a peach.

I only shop in the men's side. A different level of experience. Crazy high end. I will say it again: crazy high end. Nice stuff and decent sales, though. Won't likely get more than a couple of things unless you run a hedge fund or have oil money.

Most beautiful collection of things to wear from clothes, shoes, sunglasses, bags, items for entertaining and gifts. Great food at their restaurant with views of Central Park upstairs. Very clean bathrooms. Beautiful beauty salon.

I take my time to decide so I do not have to return anything.

The tea had a great view and very nice ambiance. We had a reservation but still had to wait around 30 minutes which was annoying. The waiter was really really nice and the tea and food was good. We got a $25 gift certificate tho to use at the shops. The customer service at the shops was amazing. Soo friendly and helpful! :)

I love Bergdorf but for a store of this caliber to make people have to travel and wait at client services for a simple exchange that should be handled on the selling floor is ridiculous. The sales person sends you, with a slip, to another floor where you are greeted with a multitude of others waiting to discuss their purchases. It is like the DMV with slightly nicer furniture. Stupid and from an experience point of view makes me think to avoid shopping here.
