What a great place. Right next to the Mackinaw bridge gave a lovely view, and the service and food in the restaurant was splendid. A great experience overall.
Very nice hotel and good price. The room was very clean and close to everything in town. The hotel also offers a decent breakfast.
We were surprised with a Jacuzzi tub in the room which was fun. Everything was clean and tidy and the breakfast in the morning was okay. Super close to the shops downtown; you can take a short walk for some fudge.
Modern and clean. Friendly staff and well lit parking lot. Location allows minimal walking distance to shops and food courts at the Mackinac Crossings. Moderate walking distance to the Mackinac Bridge and Fort Michilimackinac. Reasonable rates.
Overall our hotel stay for the past 2 nights was average. Upon arrival our room looked clean but we were disappointed by a few things. There was no fridge which surprised us and the bathroom sink was outside the bathroom. The A.C. also seemed to be very weak. The beds were fine and everything else seemed okay but it looks to be just a basic hotel. Also one of the hotel clerks was pretty rude. We asked her a few questions because we were visiting the city for the first time and she seemed to not care and gave rude responses which turned us off. But the actually cleaning people were very nice and helpful. Overall our stay was decent but there are some that could be improved and we would likely not stay here again.
The location was conveniently close to the ferries to Mackinac Island as well as the highway. The room was quite nice, but I found the layout to be a bit awkward with the bathroom sink and counter right at the entrance located on top of a carpeted floor. My friend, her daughter, my dog and I were in a room with two queen beds. The beds are quite firm, though I didn't really mind at that point because I was exhausted (loading the cars up to move in at college saps a lot of energy out of me). I imagine if I wasn't so tired already, I would have found the mattress to be uncomfortably firm. Be advised that if you bring your dog, you will be charged a $200 fee if the staff finds your pet unattended in the room. We were not charged this fee, but we were harshly warned about it at check-in. While I understand that they don't want pets unsupervised in their hotel, my friends and I felt guilty for wanting to go to dinner to a restaurant on the island and be away for only an hour or two, so we were forced to order carryout instead. Staying at this hotel with your pet would work if you're just passing through town like we were, but if you're planning on doing any tourist things, do some research on the dog-friendly attractions beforehand.
This was my first time staying here and was sorry to leave. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable and didn't smell. The bathrooms are clean, bright and sanitary. The breakfast in the morning was very good and just steps from downtown Mackinaw. I recommend them to everyone
Very very nice and relaxing My wife and i loved it. We plan on coming back real soon
Always has been a great place to stay, clean, great staff, close to everything mackinaw city, recent updates, our top choice when staying in mackinaw city for 15+ years.
Nice hotel right by the ferry. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Downside is no fridge or microwave in the room. Would still recommend this hotel.
The location is great, only a couple minute walk to the ferry. The staff was very nice. The rooms are slightly out dated but clean
We stayed here on our way to the UP coming from downstate MI. The location is convenient. Accommodations were adequate, bed comfortable and it was quiet even though we were in a central location in the building. Staff was courteous and efficient. It would appear to be a good spot if I were going to be doing day trips to the Island for a more extended time since it is close to the docks for the ferries. Breakfast was passable.
