After experiencing two different Americas Best motels the last couple of days, I cant even describe our experience. Grand Vista is clean with nice rooms.the grounds r well manicured wirh a higher class of visitors.

Cheap lodging if you need it in the area. If not there is no reason to stay here. Run down. Staff was rude. Jacuzzi was murky and unclean. Room was sub par with an annoying closing bathroom door that had to be propped open. Breakfast voucher system is ludicrous and worth 2.50 though they charge you 10 bucks for it. Not a fan and wouldn't recommend.

The hotel was nice and had a nice view as you walked out of the hotel. There is a decent workout room and shop for your hotel needs. The rooms were nice for what we paid.

The price was right and location was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. BUT we were on the second floor in the back and there is a third floor above this section. Anyone walking in the room above us sounded like elephants walking across the floor. The front desk just sort of shrugged when I mentioned it. The friends we were visiting said Oh, that's California construction!

We had an Executive Suite instead of a standard room and we enjoyed the spaciousness. We'll reserve that size again. Be aware that there are only 5 of them. The desk clerks are very helpful including Francisco. Housekeeping was not as good as in past years. My wife and I like this place.

Great staff, delicious food, good prices, clean rooms, big venue, talented artists. Location is easy to access, almost directly off the 118. Rooms are spacious and have lots of amenities and are well taken care of. There's also a pool if you are a guest at the hotel. Live music every night next door at The Arena. Friendly bartenders and security, and 4 pool tables and 3 dart boards.

For me I will have to give this place four and a half Stars. Public areas neat and clean. Looks new.the room new paint new carpet, lg flat screen TV new. The bed a king was clean and comfortable. Two small things could use a fix. The restroom sink faucet, cold side needs a repair. The coffee pot needs a take apart inside wash. Over all one of the best places I have ever staid in.

A nice hotel, awesome breakfast, little pricey but doable. Also there was a cup full with pee covered with a mug on the counter in the bathroom when we arrived I assume that's not a hotel custom It was gross. I guess the staff missed it

It works. Seems like a place that they want it to be better than it is. It's older. My guess is they bought an old Marriott and turned it in to grand Vista. It has that older smell to it in the hallways. With that said I've stayed in much worse hotels.

The location was perfect for what our party was in town for. Every member of the staff was friendly. Our entire party made similar comments. The pool area was good, as well. The Arena, next door, is worth mentioning.

Onto the bad side. Our room was reasonable. Yeah, I'll go with "reasonable". Most hotels have at least upgraded the AC units with wall-mounted thermostats to control the wall/window units, if they still have them. You'll get the old, difficult-to-dial-in, jet engine version here. Try to get that dial set to the "wife" setting with only the blue dots fading into red dots. If you receive a voucher for the Express Breakfast, you'll be glad you didn't pay for it.

Other members of our party were less impressed. "Our room smelled like mold." "We had ants the entire time we were there." "Are blankets illegal here? What's going on with the beds?" "I make 100 business trips a year; this is the worst hotel I've stayed in in years." You get the idea

the Arena Bar is amazing!! The bartenders are super friendly. Great service. There is music, Pool Tables, and Dart Boards. Just a fun and comfortable time.

I very much enjoyed The Grand Vista Hotel . It was under construction when we visited which we were not expecting. However the staff did a wonderful job in working around the matter. I would especially like to mention and give a huge thank you to Sara at the Front Desk . Sara and Mr Manager went out of their way to assist us and the service she offered was absolutely amazing and incredibly kind. I am so lucky she was working in Grand Vista Hotel
