I brew my own beer, and Avery brewing gives me something to strive for. We went on the 1hr tour which was very informative, even for someone who brews their own beer.
The food was great (I had the nachos and ribs to share) and the beer was amazing. Samael was the best and the bourbon barrel was great as well as the Beast.
I want to come back every time I go to Boulder!

We went to Avery on two consecutive days so that we could try everything we wanted on the taplist - it was all that intriguing and good. Didn't have much food other than the excellent garlic fries. Both the ground level taproom and upstairs dining area were comfortable and stayed with the friendliest, most helpful folks. I highly recommend checking them out. Their barrel aged beers are mind blowing, and we had the opportunity to try a few from the Dionysian series as well. Seeing by the upstairs swag shop for hard to find bottles.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The beer selection and quality is amazing, the food is outstanding and the outdoor area is perfect for dog owners. Yea, it's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for and you are paying for high quality food and beer.

Great selection of high quality and creative beers. Food was good, presented very well, but I thought the prices were a little high for the quality. They do say they try to source their food locally so that would explain most of the slightly higher prices. Atmosphere is great and staff were friendly.

I would recommend making reservations even during the week.

Avery has done an amazing job with this new location. The beers on tap are always fantastic. There is such a wide variety that it's easy for even those who aren't beer connoisseurs to branch out and try new things. The food is delicious. The chef has put together a great menu with a small amount of staples and specials that cover just about all tastes. It's worth noting that regular bar food isn't a staple here. You can't get nachos and burgers only make an appearance on Fridays. So if you're looking for regular, this really isn't the place. However, if you're up for branching out on food and drink, Avery is definitely the place to go!

Where to start with Avery. Out of all the breweries this is my top notch. The food here is very good, the staff is fun and knowledgeable as well as nice. Most importantly the beer is incredible. It doesn’t matter what style you lean towards, this place will most likely have it. The one unfortunate thing is that some of the beer is quite expensive (9 dollars for 5 oz), but also completely worth it. If you make it to Boulder, head to this place!

I'm a truck driver that was going to pick up a bunch of their beer and take it out to California in the morning so I stopped in here at night to get some dinner. The dinner was exceptional and the raspberry sour beer is quite amazing. The wait staff was extremely helpful if I'm ever in the area again I will return here highly highly recommended

Visiting Denver on vacation from Texas with my wife, celebrating our 4 year anniversary. Picked Avery Brewing for dinner since we were up in Boulder based on their great yelp reviews (I’ll be leaving another one there soon) The beer was good, the food was great and the service was amazing. I was suffering from altitude sickness that only got less awesome as the meal went on. They took pity on me as a low lander not feeling well and did everything they could to help on top of some nice surprises since it was our anniversary. We will be sure to return any time were in the area and I will be buying their products any time I see them in my local stores.

Thank you for helping make this night a great memory instead of a crummy one. Chloe F was fantastic!

It was early in the afternoon, so I really couldn't tell if the other reviews that highlight the "horrible service" are accurate or not. My experience was spot on. They know the value of their beer and don't shy away from that fact when pricing them in the taproom.
The menu is way a little over priced for the what I received. "Seitan Shepherd's Pie"

It was edible, but I felt it was over seasoned. I would definitely recommend this place for a drink or two, but possibly consider a separate food stop if you are hungry.

Great beer, with a wide variety of styles and tap-room only special brews. Service was great, both attentive and friendly. My only complaint is the prices seemed significantly higher than the other tap rooms in the area, especially for the barrel-aged stuff. I wanted to try more of them, but they were just too expensive.

This is our FAVORITE place! The food is incredible, the beers are amazing and always changing, and the staff is incredible. Robby is our favorite waiter and he is always fun to talk to. Whenever we are down in Boulder we always come by!

Beer lovers will find some of the most creative and well CRAFTed beers in the world at this impressive state of the art facility. Tour yourself thought the entire process on a system of well designed catwalks while you enjoy a beer then visit the Beautiful tap room and beer garden. The restaurant is possibly the best brewery food I've ever had. Priced reasonably and the service was awesome. Every server is a very knowledgeable beer person. This is a must visit in boulder!

This is one of the best breweries in Colorado if not the country. The new brewery is huge and there are 2 bars to choose from, if not the one way in the back that opens when they just can't fit everybody into the other two.
With thirty taps there should be a lot of choices for the most finnicky of beer lovers. Avery features many versions of pale ale, Belgian and stout beer. Everything I've had is great. They even had a beer brewed some 3000 years ago. That's variety! It doesn't get any better than this. Enjoy.

Great beers and great food! Stopped here mostly for the beer but decided to get something for lunch. The smoked meat selection was great. I would come back alone for that. A lot of the beers are a bit heavy on the Abv side. Keep that in mind if you want to try a lot.

I agree with the local guides' reviews - "come for the beer, leave for the food" - and wish we had listened. My husband loves Avery for their consistently great craft brews, and he was excited for the brewery experience. What was awesome: a full complement of "brewery only" beers, the bar and waitstaff service, and the upstairs atmosphere. Where it lacked: the food. The menu reads like a New American array of offerings for the Foodie, but tastes like mediocre diner food. While the pretzel and fries were tasty (albeit lukewarm), we ordered the Pork Belly Collard Greens (tasted like they'd been bathed in oil, no flavor); the white cheddar mashed (like the worst powdered potatoes - no creaminess, no flavor, just bland and yes, powdery); and two cheeseburgers. I am not kidding - my cheeseburger made me have to vomit in the bathroom (I'm not sure if it was the meat quality, some ingredient, or what). (I had one 2 oz pour, for those of you who might say it was because of drinking). We were so disheartened at the food experience, but conversely, happy to find such a range of great offerings on tap! Our advice: either revamp your food menu, or remove it entirely, because you'll negatively color an otherwise exceptional microbrewery experience.
