Quiet place. Well off the interstate. We went in slow time of the late summer. Got to say it was very clean and we were impressed by the small workout room. So much so that we now are working out at home so thanks for the inspiration. The only real issue we had was the sewer hook up was up to high out of the ground to get proper drainage from our trailer. That's why the 4 stars. Level spots easy to get in and out of. Love koa campgrounds. Thanks for the vacation!

Quiet, nice store, pool, very clean bathrooms, well maintained, cute petting zoo, concrete picnic area. Plenty of planned activities and a small cafe. Would definitely stay again. Only downside is no sidewalk to the bathrooms so you have to cut thru the campsite to get there. Lots of things to do locally.

This camp grounds offers so many free activities for adults and kids. We were always busy and had many places to explore. We could have stayed a few more days if we would have had the time. Dogs are welcome and very kid friendly. Staff are very helpful and polite.

his is now the Sunbury/Columbus KOA and it is setting new standards for the KOA name. The staff is incredible. The sites were great, ours had a concrete patio and a gravel pad that was actually level. Our site was butted up against the pond so the view was great, they have hiking/golf cart trails through the woods, and some neat bridges along the property. They have a new Splash Pad, a large playground, brand new basketball court, and a catering service available while you camp. In addition it is only a 25 minute drive to the Columbus Zoo, which is why were in town. We loved this campground and would definitely stay again.

Not worth the price. We have been here a few times when it was Autumn Lakes and now KOA - we received a RV site in the back row (117) thought it would be quiet, away from the playground and pool and kids activities as we do not have young children. We were the last rental site before the seasonal sites, also thought that would mean quiet. Not at all.it was a constant barrage of golf carts, back and forth, back and forth..non stop going to and from the seasonal sites.no privacy and not quiet. Because our site was the last one before the seasonal sites, everyone (kids and adults) constantly were cutting through our site to get the the entrance of the seasonal sites.not only rude but supposedly not allowed ??? To top it off, our deluxe full hookup site included a sewer line that was a foot off the ground.it doesn't take a genius to figure out that the hoses won't drain uphill and caused us to be "squirted" with sewage twice during our stay. Not one fish caught during our stay. They have a wonderful staff who are very friendly but the lines when you go to the office are incredibly long and usually filled with unsupervised kids buying ice cream or candy. The dog park is nice but small, the Friday night pizza is great and they seem to have a lot of things for the kids to do and the facility is clean and well kept, but not many pets in the petting zoo. When it was time to leave, they have many spots on the main road that are blocking people who are trying to leave as others are trying to hook up their trucks. A pull through site that does not accommodate your vehicle or make it easy to depart is not so much a pull through site. For the price I expected more and unfortunately will not return.

Stayed at Sunbury/Columbus North KOA for one night "shake down" and unwinterization of our Class B+ motorhome during a weekday in mid-April. The big driver of the appeal of this place is the vision and passion of the owners, who have created a campground with a "rural/western" concept for families with kids. For example, kids can pan for "precious stones" in a sluiceway, feed the goats and Lilly, pot-belly pig, or get their picture taken in the giant chair. In addition, they have allocated extended areas of the grounds for "seasonal campers" (permanent summertime campsites) which we typically do not like, but those areas were in the woods and generally pretty "tidy". It seems the owners are on a mission of continuous improvement so the place was bustling with trucks and Bobcats moving gravel around newly laid cement pads and smoothing out the roads. Bambi's fudge was fantastic, and the friendly hospitality set a new bar in our experience. We hope to return in the fall with grandkids.

Fantastic campground. The staff was unbelievably friendly and kind. All the activities (playground, crafts, boating, petting zoo, fishing, bouncy houses) kept my kiddos more than happy all weekend long. We loved it so much we came home and booked a weekend trip every month for the next six months!

Great park'! We had a spring break on our travel trailer. Even though they were closed for the season they let us stay 2 nights to make repairs. Beautiful, clean , level spots & lots of Canadian geese in pond & field next to us. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

We're new seasonal members at Autumn Lakes as of early this year. I feel more at home here in my camper than I do at our own house. The owners are great, the amenities are great, the events are great. Just an all around great place to camp. It thins out rather well during the week so if you enjoy the quieter side of camping then definitely come during the week. Wave if you see me!

Very nice peaceful campground. Great pool and playground for the kids. My kids loved seeing the animals in the petting zoo. We stayed at the Bambi Bungalow cabin which was a very nice cute cabin. Nice size kitchen with a full size fridge, stove and table that seats 6. A few things to mention that I wish I would have known before staying: the site describes 3 queen beds, one is a regular queen bed in the only bedroom with a door. The other 2 queen beds are upstairs in the loft and they are just mattresses on the floor. The bathroom has a nice shower but no bath if you have small kids. Be sure to bring your own fly swatter (flys were very abundant) ice cube trays, & hand soap, among other things the site lists that they don't provide. The cabin seemed like it is pretty newly built. The porch was was very nice and long with two cute rockers and nicely decorated with hanging flower baskets. One other thing I was disappointed about was that no one greeted us or stopped by to see how everything was or if we needed anything.
