This is one of the biggest hotels ever and very busy. It is 52 stories (floors) tall and have 1650 rooms. The rooms have very nice and fashionable furniture and the beds are very comfortable. You can even buy the Marriott bed. There are several restaurants inside the hotel and room service is 24 hours and reasonably priced. There are several elevator banks and the elevators are very fast. The hotel is located in downtown Atlanta and about 10-15 minutes from all sports arena and Centennial Park and CNN and right near major highways.

Stayed here for just a night but had a great experience. All staff was wonderful (check in, restaurant, bar, and check out). Room (exec suite) was incredible. Well appointed and comfortable. Exec lounge was large (which was good because it was always crowded).

Very architecturally appealing. The rooms are fitted with nice fixtures and updates electronics. Maybe some new carpet and paint soon. The brown striped carpet looks like it's from the 70's and makes everything look dingy. Some color would really be aesthetically pleasing!

This Hotel by far is one of the best we ever stayed at. Very convenient to everything you would like to do. It is beautiful inside and the Staff are very welcoming and friendly. The Pool is great and heated during cooler months. The breakfast Buffet at Sears restaurant is simply the best ever.

First at this hotel and really enjoyed my stay. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The hotel is great looking and classy without being stuffy. The rooms are really comfortable, modern and clean. I have a fabulous stay and I'm looking forward to returning very soon. Definitely recommend this hotel

The hotel is top notch. Check in was a breeze and everyone was pleasant. I was able to check in early at 1pm with no problem. There is Starbucks in the main lobby and a few bars/restaurants. There are over 40 floors and being on one of the top floors I never had a problem waiting for a elevator. The room was nicely appointed and had everything you would expect from a Marriott.

Hotel staff is extremely attentive. Great location. Lots of walkable entertainment (malls, etc) and food. The hotel architecture is very unique and everyone took at least a couple photos when they arrive and go into the main atrium.

I stay at the Atlanta Marriott every Labor Day weekend, and it's the high point of my year - like Christmas and your birthday wrapped into one. The building is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is friendly and generally eager to help.
My only criticism is that the room you reserve isn't always the room you get, and the desk staff seems unsympathetic. We reserved a room almost a year in advance with handicapped access for one of the people in our party, and didn't find out until we checked in that they had somehow "run out" of rooms that could accommodate our needs. I guess "reservation" means something different to them.response / report this review -

I stay here weekly due to the convenience of where I travel to for work.
This a very poorly run hotel. Called front desk this morning and was on hold for 30 minutes before giving up. TV reception is consistently poor for no reason - like you are watching satellite during a major thunderstorm. Some rooms climate control is poor (can't get it to stay consistently cool) and its warm/hot once you step outside your room into the hallways, especially the higher your room is.
Rooms are nice and they make a good hamburger - so I guess there is that. For the money, go elsewhere. I am.response / report this review -

Great hotel! The staff, especially in the concierge lounge, and the management are all extremely helpful and friendly. The beds are some of the softest I've slept on. Only complaint would be that it does get a little more humid on the higher floors, so naturally adjust the thermostat to a few degrees lower than your home after you check in. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Atlanta.

Absolutely awful. Terrible service for anything and everything you might need. But even better is all the hidden fees, $38/day + tip to park your car, $19/day for Internet and no coffee. Have to buy that too. Rooms are nice, but nothing special. Hotel is huge so going to the front desk takes 10 minutes. Every time you call the front desk, they tell you they can't help or if they do, they take forever to show up. No fridge in room either. 5 nights here, and Motel 6 would be better.

I stayed at this hotel on the 12th level and split the room with a few others for cost, but I found it a very good hotel. Connected to a local food court (which has affordable options for restaurants) by a tube above the ground. Prompt hotel staff and services. Amazed by the expanse of the interior up to the top. Many locations for rest between event affairs. I highly recommend this venue for anyone holding a big event.

Fantastic hotel. Spectacular atrium. Went through some transition in 2016, but now my favorite business travel hotel. Staff is always available, courteous, and on top of things. Lots of food and beverage option in hotel and surrounding area. Prime Atlanta location with Downtown and Mid-Town both walkable.

Presentation is everything!! I guess that's what the staff says beautiful rooms but there are slight problems let me name some.. don't order room service they don't give you what you want and everything is burnt and cold.. if you call down to get something as simple as a breakfast menu be ready for and hour and a half of calling at least five times and then them coming at twelve o' clock at night.. then ha ha cleaning the rooms more like trashing your room might be cleaned at five in the afternoon and when you return you will find food left out and not thrown away trash on the floor and not a nice smell.. elevators are a joke.. you will probably have to wait at least 30min to get an elevator due to poor programing and probably half of them will be broken.. probably this might be the worst hotel I have ever been to but still good appearance!! Ha ha

Amazing architecture and beautiful rooms. Bed was comfortable amenities were updated. This hotel is central to everything. Tip- The store next to the Starbucks has quick breakfast sandwiches and fruit in the mornings if you do not want to wait for the Starbucks line Sear restaurant is delicious regardless if dining for breakfast or dinner.
