Always pleasant staff, going the extra mile. Rooms well appointed. Well taken care of. The bfast buffet was good this time, but not greatmissing some things like smoked salmon, and pastries were a tad dry. I love their mattresses, and the only downside is the room doors close so hard they can be jarringespecially when the neighbors let them slam all night. May want to request a corner.

The resort itself is very nice and staff were all friendly and helpful. There is apparently a typo for their Lakeview suite description, we were expecting a large balcony (200 sq ft) but it is really only maybe 30 sq ft, so pretty disappointing if that's one of the reasons you went for a suite Other than that experience, everything else was very nice. The general atmosphere is very pleasant and again, all the staff were excellent. The downstairs restaurant and bar is great and the resort is tucked away on the south side of Stone mountain. Another warning for the guests, not Marriott related - Stone mountain is a huge park and given this Marriott's location, everything is about a 10 minute drive to the park entrance and trails (cannot walk to the main park attractions).

It's a hotel masquerading as a resort. Service was nonexistent when I arrived at 1 AM on Friday night. I paid over $300 for a premium room that included some spa time. The room was exactly like you'd find in any hotel, nothing special. Totally not worth the extra money to book this location. It costs $15 just to park, and you gotta walk like a quarter mile just to get inside. Also no one ever mentioned needing to book the spa time in advance, so we didn't even get to use the stupid 15 minute Swedish massage anyway. The room took over 4 hours to get below 70 degrees too, this place is a mess. Mentioned all this to the staff on checkout but I didn't get so much as an apology, let alone a concession. Look elsewhere if you wanna stay by a lake!

Nice resort+conference facility located inside the stone mountain park. A lot of nice features at the lobby level, such as heated pool, fire pits, life-size chess board, etc. We had the very nice lake view room. Quite at night, wokeup with sun shine reflection from the lake. Breakfast buffet was good. Bacon is better than average, love the pecan muffin. One thing to be noted, you do have to pay $15 at the entrance of the park to get in. Overall very satisfied with the stay. Definitely will come back.

I've been to this hotel a total of 5 times this year. The location is Central to many locations in the Greater Atlanta area. Stone Mountain Park is beautiful, especially if you ignore its racist elements, and if you are lucky you'll get a room facing the water. The rooms are standard fare for Marriott and could use an updating. The walls of the rooms are a bit thin, so make sure to avoid a room next to a screaming infant. There are two restaurants on site: the downstairs one is more of a bar, and the food is barely edible; the upstairs restaurant is fancier, usually served buffet-style, and is generally pretty good as long as you don't have to order off the menu. There is also a Starbucks on site, and I have to give a special shout-out to Andrew who is always welcoming and remembers my drink order even when I haven't been here in a month or two. The room service menu is absolutely dreadful. You do need a parking pass to enter and exit the park during your stay, and they never seem to give you one when you check in, so you have to ask for it later, after going through the embarrassment of telling the toll collector that you are a guest at the hotel. The swimming pool and hot tub are scenic, the walking trails are fun, and the gym is only slightly less than adequate. I have stayed many places in the Greater Atlanta area and Stone Mountain Evergreen Resort is my favorite, mostly because of the beautiful setting and access to walking trails. Just make sure to eat all your meals in nearby Decatur, where there is a plethora of excellent restaurants.

The hotel was very clean and the room was very spacious. Our room also had a great view. The only downside was that we had a connecting room which meant that we could hear our neighbors a little too much. Overall a great stay.

Went for dinner with family who we're staying there. Ate at the restaurant buffet. It was small but carried a good variety of options including vegetarian ones as well which was nice. Our waitress was fantastic and we had an enjoyable time.

The hotel is surrounded by things to do in the park. The pool and outdoor property is nice and peaceful. The area inside has great meeting space and restaurant. The guest room was clean and had nice amenities. Great stay!

Stayed one night. Hotel was very nice. I was caught off guard by the entrance fee to Stone mountain park. It didn't dawn on me that the hotel property was actually within the park. Cost me 15 bucks. Other than that, the stay was great. Everyone on staff was very friendly. The downstairs restaurant has decent food. Staff have great waiting service. Took a nice hike through a trail around the lake right from the property. The hot tub and pool were nice afterwards. The pool games are a nice touch. ( giant checkers and chess ) The room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the lake. I enjoyed my stay here.

We stayed here for our DAR State Conference. Not only were we in the Park with Stone Mountain, but the lake view from our room was beautiful! The hotel was lovely and staff were attentive, and accommodating to some last minute changes. The Conference rooms were professional and the banquet hall magnificent.
My daughters, who were working as pages, enjoyed the outdoor pool, while I preferred the indoor pool, as it was a bit cool in March!
This resort is the perfect venue for business, or pleasure, gatherings!

The Atlanta Evergreen Marriott Conference Center in the shadow of beautiful Stone Mountain allows easy access to all the parks greater features with excellent views of the lake and mountain. The rooms are clean and cozy and the hotel has always been incredibly accommodating for our biannual martial arts event.

Would not recommend staying here. My first room had dried food, smeared ketchup on hotel pamphlets, and ripped sheets. I was moved rooms to a room where the back pillowcase was dirty with dark streaks. The hotel apologized and attempted to move me again but I denied and left.

The property was beautiful! When booking our room I asked for extra towels got in the room, no extra towels. Grab the ice bucket to get ice when we arrived, ice bucket has old dirty water from the previous person stay Disgusted. Made a call for each of those incidents and someone came up to fix both. Went to use the bathroom and the the toilet wasn't cleaned. Looked like coffee was poured in and forgot to flush. Just cleaned in myself. Couldn't stand to call a 3rd time. Upon check-in we paid cash plus incidentals. When we checked out we were suppose to get cash for incidentals back but without paying attention he put it back on the card I only used to reserve the room. It took around 15 minutes to straighten it out and they had to find cash from other places to give me the $100 back. So again the property was beautiful but I don't know about staying there again.

Beautiful spot right on the water, felt like I was at a five-star hotel.

The internet is not free however, which I found as a downside.

Other than that the amenities are beautiful. They have several hot tubs (indoor and outdoor) as well as indoor and outdoor pools.

In the summer there is an outside bar, and when it is not summer there is a sports grill inside, that lets you take drinks out onto the patio.

They have fireplaces everywhere to be able to congregate and de-stress.

It has its own coffee shop, and there are life-size chess and checkers boards, as well as a on-location spa.

There is also a full service restaurant that is top-notch and room service.

Would recommend highly for a getaway to Stone Mountain.

Talk about peace n quite. This hotel in stone mountain park is in a secluded area n i love it. The most peaceful hotel you can find. My room had a nice size balcony with a great view of a lake. Only reason i didn't give 5 stars is the room looks like the 90's. I mean it had up to date technology and all but i guess they need to put up better paint n wallpaper in the rooms.
