Waited 30 mins to buy an Apple Watch, no one came to help, Guy holding the iPad near the door just said wait there. Went to ridge hill and was in and out in under 15 mins. This store sucks!
Great experience at the Apple store in The Westchester Mall. Although it might be easier to buy a Mac at a local Best Buy since this is in a mall and a little tricky to get to considering the parking lot is about 5 levels, it's worth it. The staff is very knowledgeable and they have every model stocked as where Best Buy might only have a few on hand. Nice to be able to just go and look around and play with the new gear. The Genius Bar is very helpful as well.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Claimed that a brand new Iphone X had liquid damage when it has never been near liquid less than 48 hours after purchase. Refused to cover under warranty or Apple Care+ which we purchased on the device.
These stores are great places to walk around, perhaps sit and go gooey eyed over the design and technical marvel of the objects but if you actually want some help, maybe best grab a kid in the Walkway outside the store and they will show you how to use the stuff because the folks inside the store are just too genius to help maybe?
went into the apple store simply because my service was not working. My phone stated "searching" for two days. I went into apple at the Westchester hoping for my phone to work again. Instead my phone does not even turn on. It is completely off and was told to replace my phone it would be $320. NEVER again would I go back there
Worst apple store I have ever been to. My phone was completely useless and I took it in for repair. They ran diagnostics and said I would have to bring it in more than one or two times so they can document it having constant issues, and after a few visits they would consider swapping it out for a refurbished phone. Horrible experience and extremely irritating. All that time waiting and phone still shuts down on its own, even happened during the actual diagnostic. ;-/
Please note, our Iphone 7s are still under the warranty, purchased it at this same store earlier this year.
Last Saturday, my son downloaded the IOS 11 update. Since then his phone is not working properly. At times, it doesn't work at all. The update affected the overall audio of his phone making it impossible to call him or to receive a call from him being we cannot hear each other.
As a single mother, I need to be able to talk to my son at any given point plus I work in White Plains which is almost an hour away from home. I made the appointment for today.
Basically, the manager named Jordan indeed very unhelpful, sent me back home with no solution but to wait till the new update. This manager was very uncaring and was not listening to my concerns. He gave me no time frame at all. He made me aware that Apple is aware of all the bugs including the audio problem this update has brought to customers. And yet, nothing. My phone was tested, hardware supposedly is good. They made one short call and unfortunately at that time, the phone audio seemed to have worked. And even though, I made it clear to him and the other female associate that it works at times, they both brushed us off like no big deal. Before I left the store, I again tested the cell by making my son call me and vice versa and of course, it did not work but the manager very conveniently had walked out at that time.
Apple is leaving a very awful taste making me regret investing in Apple.
Always a pleasure whether I go in for assistance or purchase.
They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
Great location.
What to say? Waited 35 minutes beyond our Genius Bar appointment on a Saturday before being serviced. It was busy, and the staff is very friendly and they did solve our problem, but why have appointments if walk ins were waiting not much longer? Otherwise, like I said, a friendly, helpful staff and usual Apple Store layout and design. It's just always extremely busy. Like they all are.
I usually find the Apple Geniuses impatient, but I got assistance from Alex at the Apple store in Westchester & he was so incredibly helpful. He stayed with me for almost 4 hours as I had to back up my old phone & get a new one, walked me through it step by step & everything was copied over to the new phone including all my apps! I'm very busy so I was so grateful that this could be done in one period in time hooking my new phone up to Verizon & everything--thank you SO much Alex! Excellent service.
Terrible. Waited waited! Never picked up the phone
Go to any other Apple Store on the planet. They have no clue what they are doing even though there is 6-10 managers and 90 employees doing absolutely nothing.
Explanation of a terrible experience:
Took my wife's IPad in which stopped working. The gentleman whom I was directed to when I started to explain the problem, simply said Sorry we can't fix, you have to buy a new one. Never touched or looked.
That said I was directed to another gentleman. When I started to look with him he began to say that they cost upwards of $500. I paused and said then let me look myself.
After looking at one of the display screen sit turned out there was a new release IPad coming out the following 2 days for a range of $350. No one mentioned the cheaper solution but wanted me to purchase the higher priced item.
That day they lost a customer. I am back to Windows. Good Ole faithful.
2 for ambiance and presentation. Customer service is or was very lacking.
I am SO happy to NEVER have to go to the Verizon store again. I purchased my new IPhone at the Apple Store (White Plains) and the experience was seamless and "frictionless" (no comparison with the long waits at Verizon with inexperienced sales reps!)
Never settle for less than the best. And for me apple used to be the best. Until the new “from the box” iPhone I recently purchased was damaged in a way that did not allow me to speak directly from the phone, so I only use it with headphones. No longer the best for me…
