I'm surprised at the bad reviews. I was there on Friday, 12/15/17, and what at first looked like was gonna be a long wait turned into a very fast, friendly, and impressive experience. Wes helped me out. He answered every question, was very helpful and got me out the door and back on the road in about fifteen minutes. That includes the 10 minutes in line.
Great customer service and a customized sales experience. I use various Apple products in my line of work and have been to this Apple Store many times, and every interaction I've had at there has been positive. It can be a bit frustrating that the only way to buy anything is to wait for an available employee, have them personally walk you through the process, get the item from the back (usually), and ring you up—but to be honest, it makes for a very premium buying experience, and it feels good to be treated well. I would definitely recommend making an appointment online before coming in - it'll make things a lot quicker.
I value Apple products for their reliability, performance, and attention to detail, and the Apple Store experience delivers on these qualities. I'll keep coming back—not that I really have a choice at this point! ;)
Always have been in and out. I wanted some AirPods, it was really busy but within 5 min she had some in hand, rung me up, and sent me on my way! Great service.
Even though the store is generally busy, your appointment time is never accurate, and it takes a while to get any employees attention, I keep going back because there is one great Genius there. I think his name is Ryan, and he wears the rainbow Apple Watch band. He is so great and has probably helped me replace my phone 3 or 4 times under warranty. Every time I’m here I ask for him and I’m a little sad when he’s not there! Thanks.
Don't buy products from here, they won't exchange them and instead out you through a rigorous process that takes hours. Bought a pair of beats headphones and they broke in less than a year. Came to exchange them and had to wait more than hour to talk to a Genius Bar rep who then had to mail the product off for weeks before an exchange. They don't stand by their products!
Wish I read the reviews before I want. They are very accurate. The store has poor customer service. I have attempted to get my mac fixed three times now but had to leave because the wait times have been hours long. They will not let me schedule an appointment. Called in to the customer service line and they promptly scheduled me an appointment at the city creek location. Hoping for much better service.
Their system of helping people sucks. I'd rather go to the dmv. After you wait, you get to wait more. The appointment system is terrible. They really need to take a hard look at a different way to get people in and out better. Time management is definitely not a strong suit. Nice people though.
This store has terrible customer service! We had an appointment to get my daughters screen fixed on her iPhone. They never called to let us know their machines were down and they couldn't fix it. Then we were given two options, come back when machines are fixed in a couple days or drive up to city creek which is another 20-30 minutes to wait there. City creek had a 3 1/2 hour wait timeno compensation was given for wasting 3 hours of my day or gas to drive there. Now they won't even answer their phones! They put you on hold and after 1 minute you get a busy signal and then it hangs up. I can't even believe how ridiculous this situation is. Apple service is the worst!! They would even answer calls from the apple care manager. I'm seriously appalled and wishing this wasn't my only option of an Apple Store nearby.
Today I met a great man. Ronnie in Apple Support is a real one! Ronnie went above and beyond his own call of duty to make sure that he helped me. Ronnie, our moment was short, but you've impacted a man. Ronnie is a savior and I know if Steve Jobs were alive today he would have given Ronnie a raise. RIP Steve Jobs 1955-2011
third visit to the store, still couldnt fix my iphone 6s. horrible experience. Made me want an android phone for the first time. greediest company ever! Huge wait times, the worst rules for repairs i have ever seen. awful.
I had problems with a higher end Mac Pro 15. Apple was giving me grief about getting the machine swapped out. Long story.. Patrick, Dan, Katy, Johnny worked diligently to make things right. I cannot say enough about these guys. Thank you so much! This is what makes me stay with Apple!!
Update: Had another problem with the same computer. Screen had a small scratch in it. Don't know where it came from. I took it in and they replaced the screen of free! More amazing customer service from this store.
I originally had posted a 1 star review with a lengthy explanation. Apple sent me a survey through email and I also left a poor review based on my experience. Their survey had an option to have a member of Apple leadership contact me about the situation. I selected 'yes' and I talked to Tory, the manager of the Fashion Place location. Tory listened patiently and he also took care of my situation! Of course, it would have been nice to have been taken care of on my first visit, but mistakes happen. I was very happy to see the store take responsibility and go above and beyond to make it right again. Thank you Tory.
So it actually went really well. I had a problem, called Apple Support on Monday and they did what they could but ultimately had me set up an appointment at my local Genius Bar for Wednesday. The Genius was super helpful and because my MacBook is still under warranty all the repairs were totally free. Easy, painless process.
the quoted time they say, and what they later tell you is never the same. IF it is going to be 3 hours so be it, I would make other plans, but to tell me 1 hour to switch out a battery and then take 3 is poor management, and lying to customers. This will be last Apple product just due to piss poor service attitude, lake of professionalism, and lackadaisical regarding customers time.
The "appointments" are useless, they have zero reasoning of how to manage work flow. I don't really care what the time quote is, just don't keep changing it. Then "act" surprised when you ask me what they quoted on time, then look at your devise and say, no it was quote at.. why in hells name did you ask me the question if your just going to look at you device and then call the customer a liar. Unbelievable.
