The hot tub was posted as 'out of order' during both days of our stay; however last night there were several guests using it. At no point in either the reservation nor the check in process was there ANY indication that the property did not allow ANY visitors whatsoever, yet outer/side entry doors were posted with printed signs stating this policy. The final straw? we have not even checked OUT yet and already our "deposit" has been processed and "payment" posted to this hotel!!

Visited many times. Ownership has changed. Ask to stay on the 2nd floor (North side). Most rooms on the lower level are in need of repair. Newly painted and resurfaced Jacuzzi. The continental breakfast has also improved greatly. Room prices are high considering location and little amenities but typical for this part of Salt Lake City

I have enjoyed my stay here. I have received great service, rooms are clean. The price point is awesome! I enjoyed the jacuzzi and I racked up Wyndham reward points while here! The one downside is the drug traffic in the parking lot. If you keep to yourself, there is not a problem.

Clean, fairly priced for what they offer. Super strict no smoking policy ($250 fine) that other guests seem to ignore, but the smell didn't bother me that much, as a former smoker myself. I think they're more concerned about pot smoking, since it's so close to the Nevada border so 420 friendly beware. Breakfast also super skimpy, just cereal, bread & waffles. For the price, worth it though.

THEIVES! BEWARE! We were working in the area and finished a day early. Went to the front desk at 6:00 a.m. and said we are leaving. Before we even asked about it, the desk clerk stated he would not refund the third nights fee. I'm am sure they rented it out again. I thought because we chose a Day's Inn, I could expect comfort, friendliness, well maintained furnishings and appliances. I was wrong. Homeless people abound. Found one sleeping on the hallway one morning. The lock to the outside door didn't work so anyone could get into the hotel. Very unfriendly staff. No elevator. My room was sub par. The shower curtain rod was missing a screw and about to fall off. They had replaced the vanity in my room but didn't bother to paint the drywall repair or patch a 2 ft. X 2 ft.hole in the carpet where the old vanity previously stood. The hair dryer didn't work. The security lock on the door did not work. The furnishings were old and tattered. I went to turn on the floor lamp and the inside lining was dried and brittle and broke apart. The carpet was stained. The couch had no springs and I almost ended up on the floor. If you don't value your life, safety, money, comfort or possessions, go ahead and stay here. But if you do, go anywhere else but here.

Transients and drug trafficking nearby, but there's also a great Mexican Restaurant next door. My room had no TV, a burnt out bedside light that never was fixed despite my request . They're busy at the front desk with
people in and out all night. Family operation.

Very quiet. Doors that normally have a key card to get in were not locked though. Window had no safety whatsoever. No screen or lock so it can't be fully opened. Had a funky smell when we got there. Not like cigarettes just like an old room or weird deodorizer spray. Pillows were small. But overall the experience wasn't bad for being under $100 for a night.

Piss poor. Lousy rooms, rock hard bed. Thin flimsy sheets and blankets. Airplane pillows. The employees all had a lazy attitude and couldn't be bothered with customer needs. As I stated before; PISS POOR!

The rooms are very nice and clean. The beds are surprisingly large, and the blankets are decently warm. Maybe I've just stayed in too many cheap hotels, but this place felt nice.

This hotel takes the cake for worst i have ever stayed at. Started out with check in, the guy took about 20 minutes to check me in Because he kept stopping to answer the phone. He took at least 5 calls. When i finally got to my room on the second floor with a bunch of luggage (no elevator) there was a hobo in our room! Went back to the front desk the guy was convinced that was impossible and thought for sure we went to the wrong room, as if our key could open any door? Anyways that was the last room with a king sized bed in which we paid to upgrade to a king. He downgraded us and promised us a 25% discount and to mention that to the staff the next day. So I did and they said your out of luck the man working the prior night didn't put any notes for a discount and stated I needed to talk to a manger. So I requested to speak with a manager and was told there were none on duty not would there be until next week. Also the floor was damp with some horribly disgusting unknown sticky fluid near the trash can. Absoluety a terrible experience avoid if possible. I failed to mention the horrible and constant smell of mold mixed with wet dog and the rude cleaning staff.

I called and booked a room for my wife and kids who were traveling late from Las Vegas. They had a late start due to dust storm warnings in the desert so they didn't arrive until 3am. The man who helped me over the phone was very polite and helpful, but my wife told me she was rudely woken up the next morning (11am) by one of the employees there banging on the door and saying they needed to get out or pay for another day. She also said the room was not very clean and the rest of the staff was also very rude to them when they left. I would think a sinple phone call to the room would be more than understandable in this situation rather than barging into their room twice and treating them so unkindly after paying $70.00 for an 8 hour stay.

I really liked this places compared to some of the other places I have reviewed. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was great. I love waffles. The room was very clean. We woke up late on our check out day even and the staff was very understanding. The only thing I can even think of to mention that was even negative was that there was a lot of shady types always hanging out in the parking lot and cops that were patrolling at night
