Definitely my favorite stay on the Strip.. I usually jump around to a few hotels to keep it new and fresh. The Andaz was my second hotel on this trip and ended up re-booking for the reminder of my trip. I really liked this hotel and will be staying here again. Only one complaint is the water pressure in the shower is just ok.

Update..
Had to remove a star. After writing original review, I called the front desk and asked for a late check-out. On my final night, here I upgraded to a suite. In the process I was told that I was was lucky to get it as early as I did because check-out is at 3 or 4. So when I called for a late check-out I didn't expect the receptionist to only offer a noon check out. When I mentioned I was in a "Corner Suite", he said he could probably do a 1pm.. I will still stay here in the future.

Right now it's MINUS 5 STARS!!!!!

Here is what I just emailed them

"See attached. I stayed one night. $319 per your invoice.
See my attached bank statement. 3 charges totaling $987??

THIS IS SO TOTALLY UNACCEPTBALE.

Yelp, Trip Advisor, Google Reviews and your Management will be hearing about this. The faster it's fixed, the better for you guys.

Advise immediately. "

Of course I have been on hold with their accounting department for 15 minutes so far.

Nice feel and helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are minimalist but in a good way. Pool has great view but area is somewhat small and finding a seat can be difficult. The breakfast is very good.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Very professional and helpful staff. They have different snacks and be beverages in the lobby throughout the day. Nice pool at the rooftop. Clean(, too. Great location. My friends and I loved it!

This is a really top notch hotel you'd expect in this area of town. We spent some time at the rooftop pool and the free wine happy hour in the lobby. The location is great, and within walking distance of many famous West Hollywood bars and entertainment.

Great location. Friendly and prompt service. Cool video. Free wine tasting on the lobby in the evening. Water, juice, pop, and snacks (anything but the alcohol) from the minibar is included. Awesome rooftop pool and viewing area.

The hotel was beautiful, very modern and my king room was spacious. There was some noise from the strip, but not very much. It didn't bother me at all, I slept like a rock. If you think it might be an issue, they provide ear plugs in each room. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the TV was huge. There were electrical outlets and USB plugs everywhere. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, and there are usually coffee, water, and some snacks available in the lobby. They also hosted a taco Tuesday event and a wine tasting for gusts, but unfortunately I was not able to attend.

Super hip! Lovely lobby. Drinks at check in. Complimentary drinks and pastries throughout day. The most comfortable beds you can ever imagine! We slept over 12 hours and didn't want to leave the bed!

The Andaz is a chic, boutique hotel located on the Sunset strip. You are in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the LA night life. Our room looked onto the strip which was very entertaining. It was a great view of the city. The rooftop pool was absolutely gorgeous as well! We also had a chance to eat at the hotel bar and were not disappointed. All-in-all, a very fun vibe!

Wow. This hotel is amazing. The location is perfect to be in the centre of everything. The hotel is really clean and fresh and spacious. The rooms have all you need and the view of the city is fab. The pool area is great too with a bar and stunning views. It does get busy why wouldn't it. Free drinks and snacks in the lobby and your room ( not alcohol)The star of this hotel though is the staff. They are amazingly helpful, kind and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Perfect 😊

I knew I'd love it when they offered wine at check-in. Rooftop pool is legit. Beds are comfortable. Staff is very sweet.

Amazing Hotel with Outstanding Service ! I would recommend Andaz to ANYONE. Only downside is where they are located; coming from CLEAN AIR Canada to Smog filled LA.. took a toll on my lungs. But the Hotel is just wonderful. 2 Thumbs up.

Had a great stay on the Sunset Strip. Hotel had a cool vibe, super friendly staff beautiful view of the hills. the restaurant was fun-tasty food with a fun neighborhood bar feel. Check in was easy and quick. My only complaint was a slow drain in the shower.
