Fun store with good selection of beach toys, clothes, shoes, sunscreens. Good prices. Two stories high. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I visited Alvins with my family two days ago and had a very upsetting experience. The store is presented as a family store. However, while checking out, my 10 year old daughter accidentally picked up sex dice that were displayed at the check out counter right next to the kid toys. Hard to not notice. I had to ask my daughter to step away. When I spoke to the cashier about them it was a joke. The dice had sexual positions pictured on some and words on the others. It was very disturbing that it was surrounded by Childrens toys.

The store itself has a great selection! I think the employees need a lesson in how NOT to be rude! I was in there 8-14-17 and I overheard some of the girls that were folding TShirts making some not so nice comments about someone that I was on vacation with! We left and didn't buy anything! We spent our money elsewhere and got great customer service!

They have a huge selection of beach related clothing for all seasons of the year plus a lot of souvenirs! The prices are also very good! Don't hesitate to shop here!

There wasn't a good selection of plus size shirts here. I bought my normal size and it was too small. They wouldn't let me return it and when I looked for bigger sizes there were only a couple to choose from. Seems like they cater more to the smaller crowd. Also the staff was extremely rude to me and I saw several standing around talking instead of helping people. The prices were great and you can find something for everyone

This is a fantastic store to find nice souvenirs and beach items, but I bought a shirt that I got from a $1.99 rack. I made sure it had the replacement price sticker to ensure that it was actually $1.99 and not just misplaced. It did. I went and paid for my items and left the store further realizing that I had been charged $9.99 for the shirt that was supposed to be $1.99. I'm aware that's not a lot, but that mistake could've been avoided if the woman checking my items out had have been paying attention instead of conversing with her coworker. Also, she did not say a single word to me so I did not feel as if she cared for my consumption of Alvin's Island products.

Lots of inventory. Staff was very friendly. Some of the stuff looks cheap but they do have lots to look through. Right off the main road and easy to get to.

You can spend hours in this store just looking, but it's a great place to get out of the heat have a scoop of ice cream and buy cool souvenirs

Walked in the store smelled something great asked the 2 girls what they were making and got stared down, at first I thought they did not speak English then I realized they were assholes.. So I left and did not purchase anything.. The beach is suppose to be a happy place with hospitable people

Terrible. There is 0% customer service. Don't even think about getting ice cream. There's never anyone at the counter. It took my nearly 15 minutes just to buy a soda before leaving. The cashier was on the phone the whole time and acted like I was interrupting her call. There are too many other gift shops around with better products to ever want to return here. I live here now and would NEVER take any visitors here. This place needs shut down. It's worthless.
