My husband and I went to Mellow Mushroom this evening (1/1/18) and arrived around 5 pm. It was not very crowded and when we ordered we were told it would be about 20-25 minutes. Our waiter returned to our table after we had been waiting 40 minutes, apologized for the wait, said our food would be out shortly and refilled my husband's drink. An hour after we had ordered, he came to our table again, told us our food had been dropped "or something" and it would be just a few minutes longer. We ended up leaving without ever getting our food. A table of six came in twenty minutes after we arrived and got their pizza before we left. Over an hour wait time AFTER ordering is ridiculous, especially when it wasn't busy. We were very disappointed and will not be going back any time soon.

I've been faithfully eating at mellow mushroom for almost a decade. I will continue to do so, but never again at the Pensacola location. I ordered the same thing I get half of the time I go a tofu half with no mayo sub vegan cheese with a side of hummus and this time I get a side of beer cheese too and chips. They bring a hummus app, which I didn't order. My server Connor says they don't have a side of hummus. When he asks someone else hey say to just keep that. I don't know why he wouldn't tell me they no longer do sides of hummus rather than assuming I wanted the app. Then my sandwich comes out and there's so little cheese I couldn't see it anywhere. I asked for the vegan cheese and they said they'd get a new one. The manager (I assume) brings it back to point out the minuscule chunk of cheese on there. Even if there is cheese why would you point out the speck to make a customer feel bad rather than continue fixing the new one you supposedly started. It was somehow greasy and I ate it because I was starving. I get the bill and there's chips on there that I ordered but never got. I paid for them because they gave us an app. Connor never checked on us after the food mishap. He was more interested in the table with someone that he knew. I definitely won't be back to that location.

Went back for a second visit on one week the magic mushroom soup is amazing, still trying to find a copycat recipe online. The holy shiitake mushroom pizza is wonderful, decent beer selection, great service best chain I think I’ve ever been to

My fiancé and I visited last night after winning free pie Friday. Our server first of all was OUTSTANDING. He was so chill and suited for his job (I'm so sorry we can't remember his name �). We ordered beer and drunken fungi as the appetizer while waiting for the free large pizza and were enjoying our date night that we pretty much got for free. The manager came to our table and apologized that the kitchen burned our pizza, but immediately offered us a gift card to make up for it. We told him we really didn't mind because the appetizer was delicious and the beer was keeping us occupied, but since our pizza was already free we couldn't complain! He brought our gift card and apologized again, and about 5 minutes later the pizza arrived. It was DELICIOUS (1/2 buffalo chicken, 1/2 mighty meaty). Needless to say, the previously burnt one put no damper on our parade, and the manager couldn't have handled this situation any better. The service continued to thrive and we will remember this cheap date night for quite a while. We can't wait to return for another with our gift card! Thank you mellow mushroom and the dedicated employees!

We have been here a couple of times and its been pretty good, my wife and I went valentines day and the food was good as usual but the service left something to be desired..she seemed bothered when. She didn't listen to my wife's original request for extra ranch and then was snooty with the 'having to charge remark".it kind of threw us off a little is all.

Shouldn't a mushroom pizza have mushrooms on it? My husband's pizza was loaded with his toppings but my Shitake mushroom pizza had about 1 mushroom, cut into slivers. And yet the pizzas each cost the same $20. I asked the server if there was a shortage of mushrooms and her explanation was "his pizza just has a lot more toppings". Duh. That was my point. I basically had a cheeze pizza. Overpriced and sllllooooowww service.

Great pizza and great environment! Every mellow mushroom I’ve been to is the same with service. It’s not a fast food restaurant so don’t expect super fast service. But well worth it in the end! I did have one problem.. I was told, that if I wanted to get my name on the wall of beer I would have to try all the beers. So I told her I could do it in 2 hours and she told me that it would be impossible.. I don’t need that negativity in my life! After I got over being upset I devoured half a large pizza by myself and enjoyed a beer. Recommend this place!

Fantastic service - and even MY error in ordering was graciously corrected with eagerness to please. The food was wonderful; Hummus was fresh-made, and the Holy Shitake Pie was 5 stars across the boardTake home left-overs were also given 5 stars! I will be back. (GF pizza this good must be revisited :)

I have been many times. Service was lousy last night. Almost every order wrong, and the corrected version was also wrong. Food and drinks took forever. I didn't get to eat my pizza because we ran out of time. Ordered blue cheese on pizza. They put blue cheese dressing in a container and put THAT on the pizza?!? Good grief!

Me and my room mate went on monday and I have to wonder, for the price paid, why was my Calzone so sad?
Pepperoni, I think I got four, Sausage, maybe two? Spinach.. I got maybe two leaves. and Extra Cheese.
Then Ricota was added?!
Who puts Ricota in a calzone?.. who?.. why? It doesn't belong

Love it!! Our sever was named Bill and lettme say this what an outstanding young man he is. Very polite very accurate pleasure Never had to look for refills or anything He's a keeper Mellow Mushroom Also the pizza was on point the sub sandwich my son had was to die for Thank you.

Small expensive pies, slow service and uncomfortable seating in a loud and crowded atmosphere. The sirloin steak with additives pizza was tasty but the Maui was spicy for the two who ordered it so it was kicked over to me. All in all, not a great value but we gave it a shot.

I loved it! The Calzone was huge! Couldn't even eat half of it!!! I added meatballs and Spinach to mine! My Co Worker added pepperoni and banana peppers, but my favorite part about the whole thing was the dough!!! Absolutely Amazing!!! We were both very pleased! Sat outside so the scenery was nice as well!

The food is always excellent. The beer selection could use a bit of help. Like most places these days there is as heavy an interest on IPAs as there used to be on standard yellow pilsner (Bud, Bush, Miller, yada yada yada).
I would appreciate a good porter and a good stout. Guinness is good but it has that added sour from a fermentation and, in my not so humble opinion, falls short in the classic stout category. Pensacola Bay Brewery's Lighthouse Porter used to be carried, but no more. What is carried? MORE IPAs. Egad. For all the variety on your beer list, there is a LOT of SAMENESS.response / report this review -

Mellow Mushroom is on my bucket list to visit every store. So far I've been to 6!! My fave place to eat. Drunken fun guys are the best!! But so are salads and pizza ❤️❤️❤️

Excellent food and service. Our order took awhile longer than we felt it should- the manager came out and comped all of our food for our wait time. They handled it perfect and our entire meal was fantastic!

Them folks is purdy darn good. They serve that thar pizza up in thar. They put all that good stuff on it, and they is some friendly folks. Ma fafrit part is tha pretzel bites that ya can ask fer. It ain't on tha menu, but them folks won't mind makinum fer ya.

Wouldn’t go back, I had a burger which was tasteless, and I had an upset stomach all night from it. Prices are high for the food they serve
