My wife and I drove 2 hours to this dealership for a test drive and ultimately decided to move forward with purchasing the vehicle we test drove. I sent them all of the information on my trade etc. to get the process started. To say that the communication afterwards was poor would be a compliment. I had to initiate all communication moving forward. After about a week it turns out they sold the car without even communicating with me. Can't say for sure if the fact that we qualified for a discounted price played a role in how they treated us put it felt like it. The communication pretty much stopped after we mentioned it. I called and spoke to Richard Kennedy who said he would call me back and he never did. I am pretty sure he knew when we spoke that the vehicle was sold. Please be aware of the reviews on the dealership. The negative ones are spot on. They seem to have had customer service issues in the past. It seems they are unresolved.
recently our shop service truck was totaled, we did purchase this unit new and harry was our sales person . we were very pleased with him and his team. after the accident we called harry, and expressed our need for a replacement service van. harry really went out of his way to see that we were taken care of. our replacement unit arrived today. and he made sure it was ready. nice and clean full of gas. we have purchased 3 new units from advantage ford, within 2yrs and harry has done an outstanding job
every time.we were in and out quickly, thank you harry for all your hard work. IT WAS A PLEASURE DOING BUSINESS WITH ADVANTAGE FORD
i will recommend this business to our customers.
I called in about a 2009 Hyundai Genesis that I saw online that was priced very competitively. I spoke to Melisa and she was very polite and helpful in answering some of my questions and sent me additional pics of the car as requested. They were understanding of the fact that I live several hours away and would need to do some due diligence before I made a far trip to look at the car. Unfortunately, that is the end of the positive comments I have about this experience.
When I followed up the following day I was disappointed to learn that the car was sent to the auction lot. Their reasoning was that it had surpassed the 60 day mark and that's where cars went that weren't selling. (Kinda makes me wonder why a car priced thousands below Blue book sat for 2 months). Despite inquiring about the car repeatedly and mentioning I was a very serious buyer, no one stopped it going to auction. I had also asked numerous times for pictures of the undercarriage to confirm there was no major rust since it was a northern car. Someone had made a comment there was some and this made me concerned. I never got such photos.
A gentleman headed over to the auction lot to drive the car back to the dealership and called me on his cell to tell me that the brakes essentially didn't work and they would have to see if the repair cost would make the car still profitable to sell. He said I would have to pay the difference? As it turns out, the master cylinder needed to be replaced. When I tried to track down Melisa and spoke to a manger instead, I asked how something this major could be missed in a "whatever point" thorough inspection and he was clueless. Told me he would call me back and never did. If it weren't for the only honest person telling me the car had problems I would have driven nearly 4 hrs each way to be disappointed.
Turns out my gut instinct about this dealership being a little shady after reading so many negative comments was pretty on the mark. I will say however, that if I was local this whole situation likely wouldn't have been so complex and I could have seen the car for myself initially. Nonetheless, buyer beware.
I bought my car in 2013. At the end of October I traded my car in and sent in the paperwork to cancel my GAP policy. We are at December 11, 2017 and this policy is still active. I have left voicemails, sent emails to both finance managers and the GM and have yet to receive an answer as to why this hasn't been done. This place was quick to offer me this coverage and charge me for it, but now wants to drag their feet in getting my refund processed. This is not the level of customer service I would have expected from one of the most recognized dealerships on the Treasure Coast. I'd have given 1 star, except the young lady answering the phones tries to be very helpful. Very disappointing ending to this relationship.
I worked with their body shop in the past and had a good experience.
Then I took my car in for an oil change & tire rotation. I made an appointment for in advance on their website which was neat but it didn't block off any times so I don't see how it was an effective scheduling tool. It took an 75 minutes from start to finish, and they didn't even vacuum my mats. That was frustrating. The service area itself is very confusing. I don't understand the staff out there in the little huts. Are you supposed to intuitively know which hut to drive up to? The signage is not helpful at all.
Their cashier was super nice though and the guy in the hut that helped me also very nice. I have mixed feelings about the experience. I think they have good staff but bad procedures that limit the staff's ability to provide a great experience.

I'm updating my review. A couple days after my tires were supposedly rotated I got a low pressure warning. I was pretty surprised because generally when you rotate tires they also check your pressure. It took me a little while to get around to airing them back up but I knew I had one tire with a slow leak. Imagine my surprise when I found the low tire was in the exact same spot it had been before. My tires were not rotated. They did not preform the services they told me they did. They did not advise me they hadn't performed the services but instead explained everything they had "done" in the 75 minutes they had my car. If they lie about preforming mudaine services like tire rotation I shudder to think what they may lie about with more expensive services.
Will never use again!
Had trouble with auto shifting..changed clutch. While the car was there, Advantage gave me a loaner for free from Enterprise. Mustang convertable. Got my car back and no more hesitation. Runs great. Love Dustin
Crooks! Don't take your car here for service they will try to rip you off.
I took my Mustang in for oil change. Asked if they could check my AC since it appeared to be running a bit warm, but was still worked. The car was returned to me with the AC not working! Service rep told me I needed an evaporator core replacement and would be $$$$. I took car to honest repair shop for second opinion and they found no issues except that all the Freon was removed!
Bad customer service and bad management.
Went in for a airbag recall. Left my car at the dealership overnight so that the work can be done in the morning. Received a call the following day in the afternoon that they couldn't start my car in the morning. John the service advisor said I need a new battery. It felt odd since I haven't had any problems with my battery and I made sure I had all the light off and car locked overnight. John tried to sell me a battery that I did not need. Battery was confirmed fine by my mechanic later that day.
I made arrangements with the dealership manager to meet him the following Saturday to have my front end checked. Manager advised he would personally be there and that someone will check my front end. On Saturday I arrived and the manager was not there. And they did not have a mechanic to look at my car that day. I called Lenny the manager and left a voicemail. I still have not received a call back and it's the fourth day.
I will no longer be a customer with Advantage Ford of Stuart.

Took my explorer in for service, had something wrong with the throttle body. It only took one day to get fixed which was great! Dustin and Spencer both took great care of me, top notch guys. Would highly recommend either of them to get the job done right the first time.
Great inventory
Clean dealership. Nice people. Did oil change nd wait was not long plus washed my truck am going back on next oil change.
Worst service EVER, they are theives, didn't fix the AC as promised. The "repair " lasted 2 weeks then they wanted to charge $125 to diagnose the problem Again
They say they are there to build relationships with the customer and form my experience there that was not the case. I am looking at getting the new ford focus RS which is not out yet. I told them this and they told me to come in so that I can get information on the car. I went in and they had no information for me and told me that they wont get one they didnt even sit down with me to talk about what I can do to get one. I was called to come in again and was promised info on the car. I came in and they told me they had no such information and tried to get me in a plain focus which is not what I wanted. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.
Excellent service provided by Bryant, great guy!
Shuttle service was very convenience. George, the driver, was very friendly and on-time when he pick me up.
Very nice experience! Thank you.
