  I travelled from Raleigh to here after reading reviews of how amazing this store was. He was so nice and helpful and helped me pick out some amazing oils some black soap and some beautifully whipped Shea butter! I am so pleased with my experience, I will certainly come back!

  I am a 28 year old born and raised in Durham NC and this is by far the best place to come to for true African materials! A few things i buy are the raw black soap bars from there. Works absolute wonders on my skin.

  I love this store! I stop by every week just to see what's new, lol! The owner is very nice and friendly. If you are looking for a particular item he will go out of his way to help you find it. He has a variety of things in the store ranging from African art, jewelry, and clothing to oils and body butters. Ladies, check out the clothing!! Very pretty African dresses and skirts. I highly recommend this store.

  I've been shopping at African Land over 10yrs. Customer service is always great. They definitely have the best oils in Durham! Their black soap is awesome.. I will continue to shop here and will recommend my friends and family.

  I love going to African Land, every time i visit i am treated with respect and leave feeling satisfied and knowing my business is appreciated. We enjoy the oils greatly, the quality can't be beatreceiving oils uncut and direct from the Motherland is hard to come by now. Every experience we receive quality products and enjoy a beautiful and enlightening conversation. I truly appreciate this vortex of culture and positive energy!!! Thankh You!

  I come to African Land for my health and beauty products, which mainly consist of raw African Black Soap and Shea Butter. You don't truly know the quality of these products and greatness they can do for your skin until your try them. African Land has been providing these products for years. When I want to smell good, I make sure I come to African Land to get some of their many different body oils. Nobody that I can think of has body oils that even come close to these oils and of course, you know they last all day when you put them on now that is high quality. Thank you so much African Land for all that you do.
