I have been purchasing Tommy Bahama jeans for the past 5 years and I have bought my last pair. I purchased the jeans primarily because of their comfort and style. However, I have had quality issues since my initial purchase. The material the jeans are made from doesn’t hold up over time. They develop holes in odd places such as the front of the thigh and other areas that don’t normally show wear. I have always been able to take the jeans back to this location and they would gladly offer me credit or a replacement pair of jeans. Today I went in with two pair as I described above, and they would not do anything for me. They pulled a tag out of the inside of the jeans and said they were 3-4 years old. This was the first time I was ever told such a thing. I realize clothing materials break over time and aren’t supposed to last forever but the places these jeans showed wear was not typical of normal wear. I have probably purchased over $3500 from this store in the past 5 years but they have seen my last dollar.
