Really poor customer service experience.
The WORST customer service. Have gone in this store several times and every time the staff has refused to give me any answers or help. I am done trying to shop here
As much as I love Brooks Brothers, I will not return to their physical store at this location. I usually purchase online since I am not a mall shopper but decided to drop in this evening (5/26/17 around 7:30pm) to look for a dress for Memorial Day weekend. Came in, not a single soul spoke to us or acknowledged our presence. Picked out a dress, tried it on, still no one said a word. Made eye contact with the lady at the checkout desk but still not a peep. I put the dress back on the rack and left. Phyllis has been a great help in the past but this evening was a complete turn off for me. Don't know if it was because I'm a person of color or because I wasn't dressed to the nines and they assumed I couldn't afford anything. Either way, I'll stick to online shopping.
Excellent customer service. They spent the time needed to process my gift card and then ship the shirts I wanted to my house in the right size less than 4 days later.
Kelly the Manager is amazing. I have bought from this store for 10 or more years. I had items shipped to me from this store when I lived in Florida and Georgia because of her customer service.
So, first off. It is silly to leave a review on here saying you are justified to shop at brooks brothers because you and/or your spouse makes $150k a year, and even more juvenile to throw that in a sales person's face if you feel wronged. Grow up. Take all that cheddar you are making elsewhere. If they don't want your service, don't give it to them. The free market is a wonderful thing.
I had a wonderful experience at the store. I certainly don't look the part, I have never been in a brooks brothers store before, and I would honestly never wear their clothes if I wasn't required to look nice, on occasion, for my job. I entered the store and was immediately greeted by a very helpful woman by the name of Judith who patiently took me step by step through their products to help me find what I needed. I was there for about an hour and during which time there were multiple haggard looking folks, and some nice looking ones, of all races, sizes, social and economic classes, and political affiliations. Some dressed like they just left Good Will, others like they just left the Pinehurst CC, who were all cordially greeted, in the same manner, by the sales staff. I will gladly return to Brooks Brothers the next time I am in need of their product and encourage others to do the same.
Very Bad! My husband and I (both aged 58) have a combined salary of $155,000 a year. Little did the two little "so-called" ladies at the front of the store cash register know.
We were dressed very casually but decent. We were both in jeans, I with a navy blue sweater over a t-shirt. My husband had a button down plaid (100% cotton shirt purchased at the Belks Men store just down the mall) shirt with sleeves rolled up. It was obvious that we were decent people.
We came in looking for a toboggan for my husband - winter stuff placed out in the store. After several attempts to sell my husband a "roadster" cap, we declined. The dark-haired lady had to gall to say "Maybe Walmart would be a better place."
What? I guess we weren't dressed to flaunt our $155,000/year annual salary, so they didn't see us in a "money" light. Why Walmart?
I walked out saying "Did you hear that - I guess we should have pulled out our check stubs to show her that we make $155,000/year." I'm sure they heard it.
Snobby damn store and I won't be back "just because".
My husband and I went to the store located at the Crabtree Mall. We were both dressed casually especially me. I was going to work out after our mall trip. The staff literally ignored me, never asked if I needed assistance, etcIt was clear from the "looks" from the staff that I was not worthy of their business. No doubt they thought I could not afford to shop there and would not be purchasing anything anyway. A lesson that the staff should learn is to never judge a book by its cover. I will take our business to Nordstrom where I am treated with great customer service, no matter how I am dressed. My dollar is just a green whether I am in yoga pants or a business suit. If you do choose to shop there, be sure to dress nicely or you won't get the time of day. Naturally, I left the store without making a purchase because of my poor interaction with the sales staff.
