Had a great time visiting. $11 per adult for the house and museum. Get there early cause after noon you'll stand in line to get in. The staff was awesome and Gary at the museum was very informative regarding the shooting of the movie. Ask him questions. This guy knows a lot of details. We very much enjoyed the house and the gift shop had plenty of items. Parking was not an issue as we were able to park just around the corner on the street no charge. There were a couple of private residences that had fenced off property and charged a fee to park. Cleveland police patrolled the area on horseback and we felt safe. The officers were very friendly interacting with the public. If you're a fan of the movie this is a must see.

Better than I expected! I loved how everything was so detailed and kept original! The staff was very informative and told stories of how the film was made. Well worth the visit and most certainly will recommend to my family and friends. Visiting The Christmas Story House brought back many fond memories of my youth.

I came here with my daughter, she instantly became a fan. I think it had everything to do with our tour guide. His name is Lee. He was animated and full of knowledge. He made our experience there unforgettable and so entertaining. If all tour guides were like him, I would be going on all sorts of tours of stuff. The gift shop is cool, and the museum was so cool. Can't wait to visit again!

Wonderful place to visit if you are a fan of the movie. Plenty of awesome photo opportunities. Lots of great little items in the gift shop to get as souvenirs. Parking is a rough go especially if it is busy. Definitely a neat place to go to say you've been there.

Relived my own past in that house. I remember the day I saw the movie in the theater. I loved it then, I love it now. The phone was the best part of the house. I swore i saw Randy on the steps in his pink bunny costume. This is how life should be. Staff is super kind, especially Sam! Going back for sure.

If you even remotely enjoy the movie, you will love this experience. Our tour guide was amazing. Full of fun movie facts and and answered all of our questions. Helped us pose for silly pictures. It's so much more than just the restored house. There is a museum full original movie props and facts. The gift shop was more than I could have ever hoped for. The whole team is an inspiration to the neighborhood. Drove all the way from Mid Michigan and was not disappointed!

We toured the house 2 days ago with Gary my wife who is not a fan of the movie really enjoyed the tour because of how personable, informative, and fun he made the tour. Gary pointed out several subtle things in the movie that most fans would not notice that will be fun to watch for the next time we watch. He also gave a lot of interesting background of how this movie was developed thanks Gary for a great time!

Great place! It was fun to go through the tour and play with things hands on at the house. I took a lot of pictures. They offer people to stay overnight in the house but the price is a bit steep. The museum was nice but the house was my favorite. HUGE gift shop with high priced items for sale but they were really fun. Lots of leg lamps! I wonder how many Christmas Suits they actually sell though The tour guide was nice and had a lot of info to share but was too rehearsed and spoke too quickly so it was hard to understand. I felt a little rushed as the house and museum are pretty small and there were a lot of people in the tour group. Since there's a tour guide you don't get to just wander around as long as you'd want. The neighborhood is a little rundown but donations help restore the surrounding area apparently. The house was beautifully restored and maintained. Bathrooms at the house and gift shop.

A lot of fun photo opportunities, and very cool to see a lot of props and costume pieces from the film, and hear and read about a lot of behind the scenes stories about the film. And the house itself has been refurbished to look great. Also has a fun gift shop that features merchandise from other Christmas related movies as well. Some of the merch is a bit pricey, but some cool stuff nonetheless. Definitely worth a visit for fans of the film.

Loved the tour. It's very interactive. First the guide takes you in the house and shares info but then she sets you free to walk around and take pictures with all of the props from all of the rooms. It was so much fun. The second portion takes you to their museum where actual memorabilia is showcased behind glass. Again, the tour guide gives info then you are free to roam around and look at everything. You finish up at the garage where there is a fire truck and an Oldsmobile. There is a huge gift shop with a large range of prices so you can find something you are looking for.

The actual house used in the film "Christmas Story". A gift shop and museum are across the street. Worth the price of admission. Tour is full of fun trivia about the film.

This was such a special visit and brought back a lot of memories from childhood. If you are lucky enough to go, make sure to read the cards available. This is not the actual home where the inside scenes were filmed. The outside scenes were shot here, and the interior was "recreated." Make sure to stop across the street to the museum to see artifacts from the movie.

It was amazing to see the house from the movie. They have done an amazing job recreating the furniture and it's a blast to visit. Gift shop is expensive, but that's to be expected. Our tour guide was a nice gentleman. If you're in Cleveland, definitely a place you should stop. Tours are $11.

We were so lucky to have Gary as our guide. He was so knowledgeable and pleasant. This tour is interactive. You are allowed to explore the house and take as many photos as you like. I highly recommend this to any Midwestern person who grew up watching the film. Don't pay for parking at the Bumpuss house though.
