Definitely my favorite Scout camp, my troop used to go to Camp Daniel Boone and wanted to change it up so we came here and everyone fell in love, I even was a Counselor In Training and was thinking about applying to be on staff. 10/10 would recommend going.

Best ever ! A place where memories that last forever are made here . Limited internet access make you put down the electronics and enjoy the whole reason you are there . The Poinsett Bridge is right beside it be sure to stop there too !

This place is the best boy scout camp I've ever been to and I've been to many camps. The staff is the best part. That's why i work here.

Amazing food, excellent first aid faculties, and a great trading post is where good parts end. The lake's water was filled with leeches, the Adirondacks leaked when it rained, and most were filled with vulgar graffiti and even one Adirondack collapsed during a previous storm. Even when there isn't a COI run camp going the staff is extremely difficult to deal with. I was told to keep an (old but fairly powerful) speaker system inside when not in use because the cold would get to the copper and degrade the sound quality. During the winter these cables are kept outdoors, but out of the rain. Unbelievable. Please think twice before choosing this summer camp over other camps in the area.
