We stayed at the Crown Plaza for the first night of our trip to Turkey. Very clean, modern hotel, about a 10 minute walk to Taksim Square. Staff were very helpful and attentive. From memory if you stay in the 13 & 14th floor it states in their hotel guide that you have access to the club room and lounge area, however we found out this is only for guests who have executive club memberships - they could probably state this more clearer - but apart from that I really liked the hotel.

I was in Crown plaza for 8 nights to be unest it is not a real 5* hotel. I got a huge discount for my staying so it is valuable for me. But if you wanna pay totall price I never recommend this hotel.
There was very boring breakfast .. all days was same also I ate here the worst pancake ever I had eaten.
For 4 days I was in a room that they told me its a wedding room. In first sight it was nice and looked luxury but .. actually there was no shower just a bathtub was in center of the room .. i couldnt take a shower at all so I asked them to change my room .. they gave me a big one but there was no sun light..
The color of water was yellow when you wanted to full bathtub.. staffs were helpful but not very friendly.
But you can enjoy healths club.
The location was good if you are a bit sporty :)) bus stop is near and you can reach everywhere in Istanbul if you be a bit smart.response / report this review -

I was there from NOV 15th till 17th.reception was acceptable , but the location of the hotel itself is terrible , mechanic shops have surrounded the hotel,in the room the curtain was dirty,hot water pressure and water drainage were not good. Last word : I do not suggest this hotel to any body.

The worst experience ever ! We got 3 rooms here for 8 days stay !
I have been traveling frequently and never saw had such terrible experience .
Poor management . Poor room service . Unprofessional front desk .On second day they didn't clean the room although we asked . Breakfast is terrible . We paid $100 deposit and they refused to return because I misplaced the receipt and they couldn't find their system ! They kept saying they refunded the money .
What a lie!! After I found the receipt they FOUND!!!the money and gave it back without any apology !
They just turned my beautiful first time trip to Istanbul to a nightmare!response / report this review -

The worst experience hotel in our lifes.
Wifi very slow, nobody came to fix the tv problem, they never came to put on the frigobar. In our last day nobody came to clean the room so we didnt have clean towels bath, shampoo and of course clean beds. Service in general in the whole hotel very poor cause the staff dont speak english. Rooms very small, at least for 3 guest. Horrible place dont recomendation to come there.response / report this review -

Easily accessible, just 1.5km from Taksim square. They provide drop off from hotel to Taksim. Staff are quite helpful.
Rooms are not sound proofed, you may be woken up at 05.00AM by an alarm ringing in the next room.
Property located next to a gas station and in the middle of several used car parts shops.
