Very nice hotel with a great aura and nice people working. The room we had, had a weird smell but they changed it the same day. So very nice people, nice rooms abd the food is also great.

The hotel is very well located for sight-seeing and the hotel lobby is very impressive.The staff at reception and the porters are very professional and try to do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable.
We stayed in one of the better priced rooms, the room was very large, clean and the bed was comfortable, and the room had all the normal facilities.. but a little basic.
Room service was very poor. You had to be lucky to get someone who could speak English and then it took a very long time for them to deliver your order to the room.. on several occasions we waited up to 2 hours.
If you have a baby or young child you will find the poor service stressful. The breakfast hall is the typical low cost mass tourist kind.. much better to order it in the room early!
Our stay was okay you could do much worse, but we will not stay there again.response / report this review -

Well, far from being a 5 star. Rooms are noisy, breakfast very average, fake sweeping pool( stone cold and not even recommended by local employees). Good thing is the location being close to everything. I won’t stay next time at this place.

Would not recommend this hotel. Walls are extremely thin and a lot of noise. We had so many issues here. The first room we had was facing the busy street and was so loud we could not sleep. The second room they placed us in smelled like sewage to the point where I couldn’t stand going into the room. Also, the men staying next door were really loud and obnoxious and smoking marijuana and the smell came right through the vents into our room. Awful awful experience. The breakfast sucks. No options and same things everyday. Not sure how this is considered a 5 star hotel. The one good staff were the maids and the bell hops — they were nice and friendly. Security is rude and so is the staff at breakfast and the security. Location was convenient. But rooms suck and so does the gym and other amenities. Do not recommend this hotel.

Really beautiful hotel, deco is very nice and rooms are spacious with all the amenities one wpulkd expect. Walking distance from all the main attraction sites which is a huge bonus.

Internet issue is so frustrating, below average breakfast but better than paying money for the same thing at restaurants . The Hotel is 1990-5-star NOT 2010+ 5-star so don’t expect luxury. Need renovations. However, the location is cool ; 8 out of 10. I think there are better options.

I called with the reservation line they told me the cost are € 70,- a night. I went to the reception they told me not possible its € 80,- a night. There was a discussion with the price but the guy told me again € 80,-. So i book the room for € 80,-! The there was a suprise they ask € 20,- deposit. I ask why? it was for the minibar. Paid also a deposit for that. The next day i called again they told me the price is € 70,- a night. I went to the reception to check out told them about what happend they just listed and do nothing about it! Also for my deposit money the check my room again i was lost 5 minutes! Before you go to the room check the minibar firt with somebody of the hotel!!!Also the tv connection and wifi connection was so bad!! I dont no who gives the hotels star but they have to check it again!!!

Bad service, I have no idea why this is still a 5 star hotel, u need to re-connect to the Internet ever single time u leave, even if ur phone shuts down, u have to relog! Guy at the hotel door is so rude and impolite, he seems to hate his job!!! I've never been so disappointed! Waiters at the rooftop breakfast pretend not to hear you at all, that's if u find anyone to talk to, the keep hiding in the kitchen! Daily room keeping is very poor and negligent. It's a mess! It's a pity.

The hotel is in a historical building and personnel is very friendly and always available. Rooms are standard equipped with tea / coffee and daily water service.
It is one of the best locations you can have in Istanbul . Metro , Tram, Ferrys,Restaurants and Coffees are next to the hotel. A better choice than Sultanahmet area , which is touristic and expensive. Sultanahmet is only 1 tram station far away. So everything is available very quick and is in front of your door.response / report this review -

Nothing more then location this place has to offers. so called self declared 5 stars. I had to change to 4 star near by. Also the swim & gym area are poorly maintained. Not child friendly hotel in my experience and for that price u could have done much better

It's my First night here but I feel I am in my home .. Quality at their Top .. yes price is high :) But as far as security and access to local tram or Ferri is concern it's awesome Time saving is important for any journey

My stay here was awesome. Great food, very friendly staff and the Turkish bath in the spa had a super authentic feel. I highly recommend this hotel.
