Lovely setting amongst trees with a stream and parklike surroundings. The accommodation is great with affordable log cabins with ensuites.

we were really excited to come and stay here however our excitement quickly turned to hesitation after a courtesy call to say we were just leaving paeroa and that we unfortunately were running a little late the reception to this was horrible and extremely rude and very off putting. if you don't like spiders and don't know how to ration toilet paper this isn't the place. we were in a log cabin I don't think it's ever seen a duster there were cobwebs everywhere and one toilet roll. if you like bed time stories that's fab there's a sweet graffitied log above the bed which made for interesting reading. it was just a shame and a bit of a let down the entire experience and for $135 a night a bit of a rip off.

Great facilities but the toilet light is on a sensor and doesn't stay on very long!!! 😂
