An all time favourite place of ours when we are in Waihi Beach over summer! Delicious fresh produce used for meals and their home made Gelato and Frozen Yoghurt is a must too!

Great food and lovely restaurant staff. Pity about the accommodation - fridge hadn't been defrosted in ages - the top was scarily hot. TV reception was poor. However a comfortable bed and adequate shower is provided.

Drove up to Waihi Beach on Monday and needed lunch. Lots of places closed, fortunately some ladies suggested Waihi Beach Hotel, so off we went. easy to find because it is on the main road up past the town center. My wife ordered lamb shoulder and I ordered a fish burger with chips. The chips turned out to be kumara and not potato and were delicious. The fish burger was tasty and my wife loved the tender lamb shoulder. Food was great. Service was friendly and cheerful. we were glad to try the place and will go back again.
