This is definitely a budget hotel. While everything is serviceable and clean, it is showing its age age and general wear and tear. Shared bathroom is ok. Would like a communal kitchen area, with perhaps a fridge, microwave, toaster. Could not find tv lounge. While not the hotel's fault, street very noisy with raucous people partying all night long.

Check in process was not easy. The person at the desk casually crossed line to offensive. Internet disconnect and reconnect every 20 minutes automatically. Share toilet and shower located at stairway landing at the end of corridor was eerie. Partition walls are thin, neighbors talk and noise are audible clearly. Room cleaner knocked for cleaning though no disturb sign set on door knob. Bums yelling , screaming and banging something in street. Photos of this hotel in web page looks fine.

If I could give minus stars I would, they should not be operating when you can't SHOWER or heat the room with a heater otherwise the power will trip and blow the power sockets for the night. I wasn't expecting anything flash for the price but our experience was disgusting to say the least not to mention mold on my sister in-laws pillow. DON'T STAY HERE IT'S HORRIBLE!!!!!!

This hotel is, for the most part, value for money. I did take exception to the extra charge for parking, especially at twenty dollars a night and considering what you get. As for the room? Nothing flash, but very nice. Comfortable bed, lots of room in the shower. Some time and money has been put into this hotel to make it a nice, relaxing place to stay, and that has been successful. It's definitely value for money. I would stay here again. Didn't get a chance to try the restaurant, but would be willing to rectify this next time around.

I got a single room it was small, had a bed, sink, clothes rack and table with a jug and tea etc the room was really clean, comfortable and it looked like someone decorated with care I had eggs benedict with salmon and it was delicious actually one of the best I've had in awhile the only complaint would be the thin pillow and hardly any information about the lack and the price of parking.

Clean enough rooms to stay, but not new, fancy or impressive. Rooms are small and parking is limited and $20 per night if you can get a spot. A baby crib was supplied for our toddler, but it probably dates back to the early 1990's. A little hard to find crammed back in a city block. A good view of the buildings directly surrounding us and plenty of noise also heard from them including someone's drum practice. If you need a relatively cheap bed and a mini fridge for a night, this will do. If you want anymore amenities, maybe spend a few more bucks elsewhere.

Reasonably priced, very simple, but suited my basic needs. Walls are super thin, but it was quiet regardlessmay also depend on the time of year. If you plan on walking places, (which it is in decent walking range of a variety of shops, eats, and sights) be aware it's great the top of a rather big hill!

Great service and perfect rooms, very clean and with many facilities offered. The room I stayed in was very comfortable.
Only downside: is easy to hear the neighbours, maybe the walls are too thin?response / report this review -

Room was good but was annoyed at no parking for disabled. Also parking was not free. $20.00. I told the receptionist that it was advertised as free. He replied that it was a post from last year. Not good enough. Very noisy surroundings. New apartments going up all around. Otherwise room was clean and tidy. Staff were polite. We appreciated the location. Thanks.

I'm not a picky person, the rooms were clean, the showers OK, and the location was not bad but . the bed was pretty old, my room was very small with no room for our luggage, we were climbing over it constantly. There was a table fan, I don't think there was any air conditioning and the fan was just one more thing there was no room for. I was warm all night. But if the price is right, you will survive.
