Not very good. We stayed here before and it was better. Not very tidy gardens over grown bathrooms not well cared for mattresses are soft in middle beds hard not as well presented as before

The dirtest place I have ever stayed. Price is good. Mould. cockroaches and rusty dinner items are not. Shame on you guys

Very disappointed that the place has not been well maintained by new owners. We had no hot water in one of the rooms , dirty dishes, not enough crockery, no plug, dish brush was disgusting, room smelled of stale smoke, no TV remote,missing light bulbs,curtains didn't cover windows, constant dripping noise outside, no toaster in one of the rooms, no microwave oven. Toilets ran out of toilet paper. I could go on. The only plus I can think of was the bedding looked clean. Not recommended

Bit of a shambles really. The grounds could be maintained better. There was a very large wooly nightshade (which is poisonous) growing in a corner. Weeds growing free in all the gardens. Lawns needed mowing. The permanent residents there can be very rowdy at night with no respect for the other people staying in the park. The tourist flat is advertised as fully self contained, which it is not. The hot water cuts out all the time. There is a light on an opposite cabin that stays on all night and shines right in the window, the curtains are really thin and lets in all the light. It's not a good experience to be on holiday with. I've stayed in better motor parks for less.

It is right in the middle of a few neighbourhoods and as such, it's crowded. It's also expensive for what you get. Good news is there are necessary facilities. Open kitchen, bathrooms and showers, and Wi-Fi although we weren't able to use it because we checked in late and the woman we spoke to on the phone couldn't remember the password. They have boxes conveniently placed in a couple of spots to leave items or browse for something you may need. We hope someone enjoyed our Kraft American Macaroni and Cheese (Trolls version. You're welcome!).

Great to know that the Motor Park is still operating as we have stayed their for the last couple of years with our school team. We always found the rooms clean and tidy. Will definately be booking there again if you still have the bunk rooms

Conveniently suburban and comfortable. Not flash, but practical. Cabins are a little dated but are ok. Generally well cleaned, but a little more attention needed to detail cleaning. You may be relying on last tennat doing dishes properly, so check before you use anything from cupboards. If looking for budget accommodation above backpacker standard then give this a try.
Shared facilites are ok, but need improvement (e.g. fixing loose toilet seats and only about 3 of the 8 gas rings actually work). Toilets are only cleaned once a day in the morning - ideally this should be done in evenings too.
Looking forward to next visit to see if improvements are being made by new owners.response / report this review -

I have been coming here for 2-3 nights each week for about three months now, a regional commuter into Auckland for work. Yes, the showers were crap but now water pressure is fixed and they are good (thanks!). Yes there are permanent residents, but this is NZs biggest city with unaffordable housing and stuff-all campgrounds so what do you expect? Also, permies are what keep all NZ campgrounds going through off season so it's basic economics. Yes there noisy campers sometimes, but that happens everywhere.
As for the facilities; powered sites are great, kitchen is large and clean, vending machines are handy and well priced, unpowered lawn area is great, toilet/showers/laundry good..supermarket within walking distance and easy access to airport. You would struggle to do better for the money in central Auckland.response / report this review -

Running water. Bathrooms were pretty gross. Lots of "permanent residents" some old drunks, some really nice. Our "non-powered site" was literally a side alley behind the bathrooms. Safe and usable but one step away from a homeless shelter.
