  Had to wait an hour & a 1/2 for our lunch even though we had booked in advance. The service was ok even though you could hear the stress in there voices about being flat out busy. By the time the food came out it was cold & didn't taste fresh. Amazing backdrop though would be ok if they weren't so busy

  Lovely environment, I had the eggs benedict and my fiance had the big breakfast. Would have given a higher rating but the sauce for my benedict was a bit bland and the eggs were way undercooked. The big breakfast on the other hand was a big hit for my fiance. Nonetheless I'm sure it was just a one off as it was quite a busy day so we will be back again.

  Time: 1:45pm Saturday: Food (Esp. the Big Breakfast & Brownie) was fantastic but the staff (girl on the coffee / till) left us with a sour taste in our mouth. Why Amongst the items we ordered was a tea for one. That came in a tiny pot which would have been ok except the pot was only half filled with water; not enough for a cup and way too strong (one of those nice trapezoid tea bags). The good wife asked for some hot water but the waitress bought out this egg-cup sized jug of water which was also only half filled and was quite smug about it. Ruined what should have been a nice outing.

  Outstanding service and food. With a beautiful outlook. Plenty of fun things for the children with the bonus of the cricket oval to play on. Not to mention a beautiful garden walk to walk off your meal.

  The food was average Enjoyed the walk in the garden but be careful if you go there during the summer, lots and lots of wasps in there. 😱

  Really poor service, slow, unhelpful, unfriendly staff. Ordered 3 coffees twice - didn't arrive until we paid the bill and were leaving. Claimed they were very busy but only half full.
  
  Food poor, burger half cooked. Desperately need some decent professional waitresses. They were the worst I have seen since being in NZ
  
  Very poor considering it was not cheap and a disappointed birthday girl.
