Excellent hotel in prime location
Well presented
Our room was upgraded due to noise from a neighboring party so it was quite lavish. Well laid.out with everything you need except the washing machine. It was an all in one washer/dryer and it took forever to get a load done and it wasn't all that dry. The view from the balconies were spectacular!
We stayed at apartment 202 of Picton Waterfront Apartments for a Friday and Saturday to have a break away from our busy families. When checking in, we asked if the pub immediately below our apartment (Oxley's) was noisy at night - and were told definitely 'no'. Unfortunately that information was incorrect - Friday night was loud and booming and kept us awake well after midnight. Saturday night was WORSE - louder and later. We called our contact at Picton Waterfront Apartments on Sunday morning and are still waiting for a call back over a week later. This was such a disappointment and tarnished an otherwise perfect stay. The apartment was spacious, clean and tidy but if you wanted to get to sleep before 1am, you'd be out of luck! Wifi wasn't great either - couldn't even watch tele on demand or check Facebook while being kept awake all night!
