Don't come here. This is the worst holiday park ever in NZ. Bad hygiene, worst service,pretty noisy due to it located on the side of high way and state housing area. Really bad experience!

Basic but decent accommodation. I had one of the cabins near SH1 and it wasn't as loud as you would have expected. Only stayed one night.

Would not allow us to stay for 2 months as only my husband had full employment.The fact I am 70 and receive super was not classed as income. I was told to go and find a job. Very upsetting.

Comfortable enough but the free WiFi only covers you for 100mb. That's barely enough data to log onto a network

Drove slowly in to have a look at the playground facilities for the 2 children with me, saw nothing indicating that that was against their policy. Before I could book, had a woman rush out of the office and stand in front of my vehicle and proceed to rudely read us a lecture about having to stop outside the premises 1st and then ask for permission to enter. She had no decency to talk in a professional and appropriate manner - sad for someone representing a local HOSPITALITY business. Suspect that because I was driving my old farm ute instead of the late model Camry, she singled us out as suspicious - she then proceeded to watch us leave while muttering something, naturally I went somewhere else and will not be recommending this camp-ground to anyone, any more.

Prices are high as usual for a top 10, but the staff is very friendly and everything is clean. Nice Cabin aswell.

Nice staff, but the bunk beds, OMG! Squeaking and squealing every time you moved or rolled over! (Result: Terrible nights sleep for all!) That's what you get from buying el-cheapo beds! Please look at putting in some leather or plastic washers and re-tightening all the bunks!

Friendly staff & quick check-in - it's a pretty big campground. Facilities are rather small and old, but as usual with the Top10, you can't go wrong. Just make sure you get a site as far from the street as possible.
