I have been hiring from Pegasus for a long time and have never had anything other than stellar service. they are always very on the ball with the pickups and the whole process of renting a car is, in a word simple.
The staff are really friendly and happy and there is no greater recommendation I can give other than - I sent my mother there for a car!response / report this review -

We chose Pegasus in Christchurch based on the proximity to the place where we had to drop off our campervan and the whole experience was seamless. Pickup and drop off were smooth and the car itself was clean and nice. We had excellent customer service (including a ride to the airport after we were finished with the car) and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pegasus to any fellow travelers.

Would whole heartedly recommend these guys - have been using them for 5 years and the service has always been stellar. Now with newer cars they are only getting better - and I even got to test out a full electric rental car last time.

We booked a car for 7 days to be picked up in Christchurch. Brilliant service from phone booking, uplifting at airport and return. South Isaland also turned on the weather for a magnificent holiday in the south. Darryn thanks for all your help and we will definitely be back again to utilise your services. Thankyou. Gerard

My experience of hiring a car from Pegasus was like waking up from anesthesia after getting a tooth pulled and saying "Was that it ? "
After previous experiences of hiring vehicles from the more bigger named companies that have strict guidelines that can not be deviated from I was pleasantly surprised on how flexible and down to earth Darren and his team are. If you are looking for an affordable rental car without the hassle and also walking distance from the airport I can not recommend them highly enough. Let them offer you a great deal . They also sell cars and if (dependent on your needs ) you may want to try something with the "Wow" factor do what I did and get one of the few electric cars on offer :)response / report this review -

The service is good, but the car is a bit dated. Price are cheap and really good deal compared to others. Most importantly, the staff is great and friendly. Call up for Mr. Darren, he'll assist you like you know him for years!.

Easy to get the keys, easy to drop off. I liked the system where we could set up the rental forms through email.

Surprisingly new and shiny vehicle (given the low price). The really brilliant surprise was saving my day at the end when I was running a bit late. Instead of dropping me off at the airport after I returned the car, the Aussie guy cheerfully drove me the other direction towards town and dropped me at my accommodation.
