Rented Jucy for two weeks in New Zealand. The only downside is that we got an automatic car when we would have preferred a manual one, but Jucy does warn you that they cannot guarantee that you will get your choice of automatic or manual. While in Oamaru we had a problem that damaged the door hinge, and support was very helpful in setting us up with a local body shop at no charge for us at all, which was very much appreciated. Great agency to rent at, would absolutely rent from them again for a road trip around NZ!

Love these guys. Fast and simple to book online and pay. I find the prices great and different options for insurance is available. The cars are nice and clean and well maintained too.

Fantastic Prices, excellent and affordable Had issues with our Chaser which was replaced and we were given a refund on costs for the Campervan as well as unexpected call charges. All good in the end. Prices change rapidly book at the beginning of the year for the end of the year and visa versa.

This place is a joke. It is run by young kids who couldn't care less about their job or customers. When we went to pick up the car, it took them 40+ minutes because they had to renew the registration, which could've easily been done before we arrived. When we dropped off, the workers completely ignored us for about 20 minutes, and their airport shuttle left without anyone waiting because no one knew if they should get on or not. It was comically bad. NEVER hire cars here!!!!

relatively good cars and a decent price

shuttle goes from the arrivals terminal every 20 mins

staff are pleasant and cars are okay (we got an i30). good for P2 Aus licence holders.

We only requested a quote for a 2 berth camper and eventually didn't rent a vehicle from Juicy. From all the companies that we requested quotes, Juicy was the most expensive. The daily rent amount may seem cheap but it doesn't include:
1) Insurance (adds at least $30 per day)
2) Linen (adds $20 per person)
3) Utensils
4) Table+Chairs
5) WiFi
6) Various other items that some may deem necessary.

Poor counter service. The shuttle from the airport takes forever. My car was not full of fuel and did nor run properly. Someone ran into me, it was not my fault and they made me pay the excess. Will not rent with Juicy again.

Hired a vehicle last year December and found out that the air conditioner wasn't working during our 7 days trip and we all died from heat stroke. We had call them many times and no one answered the phone. By the time we returned the vehicle, one of the staff member kept apologising to us and gave us a refund. Poor service and ruined our holiday.

Cannot fault the staff at Christchurch depot. Thanks so much guys, great job. Arrived Feb during busy holiday season. Yeah had to wait, it is what it is. I see a lot of people complaining and giving bad reviews here. These are the people that will complain about anything. Booked chaser. When arrived was told that vehicle was not available. Got upgraded to casa. Was a Motorhome not camper with only 15k on the clock. Was not charged a cent extra. Highly recommend reading the terms of contract. It's brutal. Some accidents Not covered even with the highest insurance. Wheels And windscreen not covered at all. Jucy charge 75 bucks for admin claim fee even if incident/accident not your fault. Must report any incidents within 24hrs otherwise contact is void. Be careful especially if you are staying in areas with no phone reception.

Complementary shuttle bus from airport to depot. 3 min ride. You don't have to walk to depot at all.
