Limited WiFi service. Rooms are good with heaters. Bathroom's mirror is not placed above the wash basin. First floor rooms get excellent view of Wakatipu Lake. Parking space is limited to 10 cars. Guests have to carry their own luggage.

Spacious room with a kitchenette, great view out of the window of the lake. Our room had a slight smell, but it was not unbearable and you wouldn't notice after a couple of minutes. Fairly close to Queenstown city too, about a 5 min walk

The motel is at the quiet part of Queenstown, and located just beaide the lake. The building is old, but the 2-bedroom unit that we stayed in is clean and tidy. Staffs are helpful and prompt to our requests for replenishing room toiletries and coffee/tea supplies. Free wifi is only 2gb per access given, additional data can be purchased at the reception. The motel is value for money considering the location near town.

Green mold in room. Smelt really bad.
The staff were lovely and understanding but I couldn't stay there. Cost me $300 a night to find anywhere else to stay.

Good location nice view. Opposite the lake. Enough facilities in kitchen. Warm room in winter. Hard to park car. Outside looks run down. No free Wi-Fi.

Great location, great view. The room has been renovated, with some existing old furnitures. Free WiFi is now available with around 1 GB limit.

If the parking is full, you will have to drive around 500 m to park at roadside. One of the 2 bedroom apartment have to be 2 single beds. The bed cannot be moved.

Called up for basic information and was greeted by the rudest man. It was obvious that he couldn't be bothered talking to me and to demonstrate that he was aggressive in his manner and refused to help. I was shocked the owner of a business would want to advertise his business like that. We won't be going there

Everything was bad. At first our beds were not made and the garbage can was full.
Parking: they have parking slots but it is only for the motel guest and not the backpackers.
Kitchen: barely legit to call it a kitchen,it is very small and only one or two pens and the grill barely works.
Showers and toilets: one shower&toilet for 3 rooms. The water stream in the shower is very hard to control - rather too hot or too cold.
    Wi-Fi: none, you can purchase.
This "awesome" hostel cost us 300 $ for an extremely small room of 3 (only two beds) that was the only one left.

Called a week in advance to change the date of booking, were informed that all the dates we could make were fully booked. Asked to cancel the booking with a partial refund, declined. Frankly, with demand highly exceeding supply in Queenstown accommodation at this time of the year, they could easily have charged us 50% of the total cost and still made a profit because the rooms would have been taken by someone else in the week between cancellation and the stay.

Makes no sense that calling a week in advance would entail the same cost as a no-show. Have traveled quite a bit in NZ and never encountered an accommodation that behaved this way before.
