Clean rooms, kitchen and bathrooms. 4 beds in room. No lockers in rooms. Good Wi-Fi connection. Cats hanging around the place - for the allergic fellow's

I was born in the backpackers, it used to be the Maternity Hospital. The streets next to it are a sell your own car area, great place to buy a cheap car

Good place to meet people in a nice backpacker atmosphere. Access to laundry, kitchen (+ kitchen supplies), tours and activities. Close to town (10 mins walk) and the 10 pm curfew for drinking on the premises keeps the hooligans to a minimum.
I used the baggage store options while I walked the Routeburn and left my valuables (like my laptop!) behind the counter for the 3 days. Trustworthy place.response / report this review -

We had a small basic double room located outside in the garden, it was the cheapest place in Queenstown so can't really complain!

Really great hostel. Lots of services provided, from free gear to use, free soup everyday, and for you internationals, free phone calls to international landlines! Nice and clean, with friendly service to boot.
