Great facilities, clean rooms, helpful staff with broken English. However, BBQ areas crowded with workers. Luckily, the rooms are isolated by the kitchen.

Genuinely the kindest motel owners I have met in dozens across NZ. Really well set out apartments, with our twin having a separate bedroom, plus a kitchen area and large bathroom (I would disagree with the google description, these are not "basic", they are deluxe apartments). There is also a large covered barbecue area with picnics benches inside.

If I could recommend a future addition to the motel to the owners, it's that there is plenty of room for a spa hot tub. That would be the icing on the cake!

Very comfortable and excellent value. The next time I am back in town, this is where I will stay. Highly recommended.

Very nice place,great place if you like flyfishing,only 5 minutes walk to Tongariro river.The motel is simple but everything works,owners are top,so helpfull.

The place was clean, tidy and spacious. We booked a two bedroom unit and it came with an extra bed in the living area (very good arrangement for us)! The owner was very thoughtful and helpful. They made us feel home.
