The view from my deck is significant amazing. Price is reasonable high but it’s worth it. The one of biggest problem we have while we stay is the heat up swimming poor is not working. The water is far to cold my kids cannot swimming. All the facilities are really nice plus the restaurant is also good. You can see from the photos. Highly recommend to everyone but make sure their swimming poor working right. VH

Hilton still belives in charging for every service and squeezing every cent out of you for second rate accommodation and food this is true for this version of the hotel, pool area nice rooms outdated. blood splatter or simular inside of lamp shade if you like the chain because your loyal go for it otherwise nice lake views would be the only positive comment about the stay.

The only place you should stay in Taupo. I've been here many times and everytime is great (once was also a stag trip with 20 guys and they were great) we love the views, the rooms are spotless and new, and you can order to the spa using the phone near the gym. The local restaurant makes some banger cocktails, excellent food and great views and ambeince next to a fire. Winter or summer - top spot. Also has a Tesla charging station.

Gorgeous hotel. Staff, in particular the manager Emil were incredibly kind and helpful. Small gym and pool and a good quality restaurant on site. Wish we had more time here.

We just spent a night there and the room we booked was massive (space wide I mean) and the view from the room was cool. The restaurant attached to the hotel is really good, a bit pricy but impeccable. At the end, it was a really pleasant time there

Quite underwhelming actually. Though it certainly is a nice hotel with a great view, coming to a Hilton one expects the Hilton standard. When arriving, we were greeted with only half of the necessities, considering the amount of guests we were. The suite, which accommodates four people and comes with a built-in kitchen, had shards of broken glass in the dishwasher. The kitchen itself is rather useless: The knives aren't sharpened and the kitchen hood simply sucks up the cooking fumes and blows it into the room. The pullout couch for the third and fourth guest is uncomfortable and squeaky. Also, the bed sheets came off with every single move one made. Something as easy as having the usual two bottles of water ready was not done regularly. However, the managers on-duty did their best to handle the problems.
I'll think twice about returning here.

My Wife and I spent our little getaway in Taupo, lets just say one of the best experiences.Thanks to Hilton Lake Taupo for making our stay a memorable one. Staff are so friendly, Hotel was spectacular. Restaurant staff were so attentive,a special thanks to Barbara and the team. Spa and pool was amazing. Cant talk highly enough about Hilton Lake Taupo, Definetly a 5 Star.Is highly recommended.

The best hotel experience I have ever had! We were treated like royalty, had full access to gym, spa, pool, steam room and sauna.
the room was PERFECT! very clean, heated floors and towel rack in bathroom. I wish I could have taken the bed home too! SUPER COMFORTABLE! They even folded our PJ's for us when they serviced our room!
Staff were spectacular! Shout out to Pania and Angela! These beautiful ladies made our stay extra special!
They never batted an eye and promptly delivered anything we requested. Even a pair of scissors!

I cannot fault the Hilton at Taupo in any way! Just perfect!

Disappointed from the start, expected more from the Hilton, for the amount I paid for a 3 bed apartment with no car park! Reception not that obliging. Apartment with no mini bar? no decent coffee, espresso machine would have been expected. On the upside the apartment was amazing, clean with very comfortable beds.

Needs more variety for the morning buffet, especially for us fitness freaks that don't eat red meat. Also, the lunch/bar menus leave a lot to be desired. the bar menu is nothing but deep-fried foods. Some cheeses/fruit platters would be an easy (cheat) addition. Cocktails by the pool would improve the summer getaway experience!
