We arrived at 20 after a long day driving the caravan.
We booked a double bed bedroom with tv, it was around $72.
The things is, all the amenities of the place close at 21, thus, we couldn’t wash the clothes or use the kitchen.

We go to sleep because we were really tired, and when we woke up we try to have breakfast or have a shower but they came to say that we have to leave because the check out hour was 10am.
It is true that we woke up late because of the tiredness, but even that, having arrived at 20 (the time that caravans normally finish the trip of the day) tell us that we have to go without even use the bathroom, I think is a total lack of respect and not worth the money we paid. We just slept on the place and that’s all they gave us!!!

Not to mention that the ladie at the reception has long face all the way since the first moment until the last.

Having said that, the place is beautiful itself! Quiet, green and spacious. I wish we could have enjoy it it was what we paid for

    Hope this help you somehow!

Big hug to all the brothers and sisters around the world
    Xx

A lot dearer than places we've stayed in prior to this. Very old and tired, and not up to the same standard of other holiday parks.

Fantastic place to stay. Lovely friendly staff and clean facilities. Our campervan site had well maintained hedging around it. Most of all we were able to take the dogs with no issue

Best facilities in any park we have stayed in New Zealand. Great showers and kitchen. Geothermal pool included in the price!

Nice layout with hedgerows separating the sites, a mineral pool, clean and well maintained facilities. Friendly staff except for a man that was somehow offended because I asked him if they had more fridges (they only have two small fridges which were full). The answer I got was "You got to take care of yourself", which I found a strange remark considering I'm a paying customer and not being able to refrigerate my food will cause me to have to throw it out and not be able to eat.

The location was a little out of the main district, but if you drive, it is rather accessible, with parking right at the doorstep.

Amenities were adequate, with a common kitchen, a kitchenette within the room we stayed, common laundry area with detergent available for purchase at the reception counter.

Staff were friendly and helpful. As our Tongariro Alpine Crossing plan was thwarted by the weather, we decided to do the K2K trail instead, on the day of our check-out. The staff were nice enough to let us use the common bathing facilities after we were done with our trek, and even provided fresh towels.
