Excellent central location adjacent a variety of eateries. Room was quite small and needs a bit of a facelift. Overall we were satisfied with cleanliness and quiet comfortable nights sleep. Special mention for the reception area coffee vendor who had very reasonably priced breakfast items, providing a good alternative to the full buffet of the hotel restaurant.

The hotel staff were lovely. I found it strange that at check out time there was only one concierge on the desk. I wasn't in a hurry, but clearly others were. As a Silver member of Accor hotels I was also surprised that the staff were unfamiliar with the benefits I could receive and didn't believe me when I told them I was entitled to a discount on my evening meal from the night before. The room was adequate and the food was fabulous. I will be back

The hotel is centrally located and was walking distance from everything I needed, including my work-related activities. The room was clean, comfortable and functional, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue was that the room overlooked the main road and if the window covering was open the window faced directly into the offices across the street. On the plus side, the windows were sound-proof so once the covering was shut at night, I wasn't fussed about it. I would definitely stay here again.

what a great place to stay & right in the middle of town with
easy access to shops & malls.
we had breakfast,lunch & dinner onsite & found the it all to be very good.
plus across the road there was a great Japanese restaurant.
the accommodation was clean & tidy & the most important thing to us was it was quiet & warm.
we highly recommend this as a convenient value for money destination with great food & staff.response / report this review -

We were more than happy with all aspects of our stay. Staff were great, Room was clean & tidy just what was expected. Breakfast was enjoyed on 3 of the mornings we stayed. Nice & central we walked to our conference at another hotel 10 - 15 minutes away. The early check in at about 8 in the morning was much appreciated as the weather was wet & cold that day. Thank you all for a lovely relaxing stay.

After having stayed at the Ibis Hotel, Christchurch in January it was a lovely touch when we arrived at our room and there were four bottles of water and a note welcoming us back. It was much appreciated. The room was cleaned to a high standard, you have fantastic cleaning staff. Your staff are all so friendly and helpful which makes us want to come back again in the near future.

Rooms are okay and clean, the staff is friendly, but there is no free wifi and you'll have to pay for everything on top. I wouldn't recommend it.

The hotel is certainly nice enough and I had no complaints at all, but compared to other similarly priced options nearby, it does feel just a little bit system spartan and dated. For the price it would also have been good to have wifi included rather than a$10/day extra

Rooms are tidy, well equipped and clean. Awesome room service - very tidy when we came back. There was a full range of breakfast served. Location is close to the city centre. Only the reception could be a bit more friendly.

For the most part, exactly what you expect at this price point. Major drawback: no outlets anywhere remotely close to the bed side tables. You cannot have your phone by the bed and charge it at the same time, which I consider a massive design/practicality oversight.
