Great place to stay! Greeted by lovely and very helpful staff. Great facilities!! My kids loved the indoor pool. Room was very clean. Highly recommended!

Best hotel my wife and I have stayed at in the whole of New Zealand and we travelled a lot. Price was also substantially lowest of all the hotels we stayed at. If you can stay here you wont be let down. I have no criticism. They even cater for smokers on the off room balconies. And for non smokers they seclude the balconies well. Ten star for everything.

We love this place. stayed here while working in Christchurch for the earthquakes and then again when returned for a holiday. The best part is the kids love the spa before departing on our flight home. Food is awesome as well as very friendly staff

I was at the Commodore Hotel last week to take a course. From the moment I arrived I was warmly and professionally welcomed and delighted to find my room was spacious, quiet, very comfortable with a fabulous bathroom area. Mustn't forget the very friendly shuttle driver/concierge. We were so well looked after while using one of the wonderfully naturally-lit conference rooms. The staff were always attentive, friendly, helpful and obliging. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. Highly, highly recommend for any course or conference, small or large. Hope to see you all again.

Flying in and out of Christchurch we were so glad to stay in this hotel. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice and clean (we stayed here 2 times and had 2 different rooms). The restaurant / bar is very good. We can strongly recommend this hotel.

Extremely friendly staff, large guest rooms that are very tastefully appointed. My usual room has a small balcony which is a bonus when you can open a window or door and have fresh air in your room.

We had a fabulous stay here over labour weekend. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We were lucky enough to be ungraded to an adjoining family room, which was a lovely surprise.
The Restaurant was fabulous!! The service was amazing!

This is my new favourite hotel in Christchurch. Rooms were large, well appointed and well lit. Staff were all very friendly. (I think because the place is family owned ) Location is excellent, and the restaurant on site was good.
They give you a free drink voucher on arrival, which is a nice touch.
