Basic hotel but comfortable. Bright lights outside our room and noisy buses in the early morning.

Not a hotel, the "restaurant" only has continental breakfast. Light in bathroom doesn't go and no body can fix it. As I write this I can hear the tv blaring in the room below me. No skyt V.

While the hotel claims to the rooms have been recently renovated, it appears the standard of renovation was very poor. General standard of the hotel is leaning towards run down. I would not stay here again

For those that care to make the distinction, this is a motel, not a hotel. Don't stay here if it's going to be hot - the room had neither air conditioning nor a fan, and only two small windows at the back. I enjoyed the location as it was within 45 minutes walk of all the major tourist attractions, but will consider other options when returning to Christchurch.

Checked in at 18:30.
Went outside and came back at 22:30.
Found out there was no light bulb working in the toilet/shower.
Called reception very nicely and was told to use the toilet/shower with the door open as they can't do anything with the light bulb at 22:30.
If you want something special from them, don't expect anything.
They can't even change the light bulb for their customers.response / report this review
