Check-in process was slow, hotel is slightly run down. Staff were mostly helpful. Elevator was dodgy. room was tidy. If I could choose I would try some other place.

Quite dated room we had, dirty/worn carpets, dated decor generally inside.
Staff were pleasant without being warm but service was good. All in all an ‘ok’ experience, but probably wouldn’t go back

Very nice hotel. Clean comfortable rooms. If you get the rooms with a view, you'll have a nice view of the lake. They also have the "family room" which has one queen size bed and two twin beds in the same room, perfect for the average family! I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel as long as you don't mind driving into town, as this hotel is not within walking distance.

We came to Queenstown for our wedding, and decided to stay here. Heritage was very accommodating, helpful and attentive. The hotel is classic and beautifully appointed.
We booked a lake view suite. The bedroom had a balcony featuring uninterrupted views of the lake and mountains. The lounge also had amazing views. The suit is large, open and spacious and features a washer/dryer, full kitchen facilities, a bathroom with bath tub, and dining and lounge area. Slightly further out of town than other places, however I cannot fault the overall quality and feel of the place, as well as the full scale views other places won't be able to beat. Highly recommend the lake view to couples.

Nice location, close to town. Had all the basics but nothing above. The walls are far to thin, could hear showers & bathrooms throughout the stay.

Great place to stay if you're looking for somewhere to sleep while you adventure & don't plan on spending too much time in the hotel.

Slightly dated now. Facilities are as expected but decor is old. Plenty of car parks for guests and is very close to town. There hotel is close to some nice water side walks

What a lovely hotel..well placed just slightly outside Queenstown well appointed rooms and very friendly staffmeals are tasty and the views to die for.

A little out of town 15-20 mins. The walk up the hill counts as exercise. You can catch a bus to the door. Reception and restaurant building blocks view from rooms, disappointing and poor design. Lacks area to sit and relax and enjoy view outside one's own room. A large deck with superb views was unused and locked!
Large pleasant rooms, that could, however, be anywhere. Small balcony was pleasant to sit on. Staff pleasant and helpful but not engaging.

Very nice and cozy hotel. Excellent views. Away from the downtown crowd, but still just 5 min drive to city center. One can walk down to lake wakatipu from the hotel boundary wall. Staff is very helpful and welcoming.

Nice rooms and wonderful view over the lake. A minor issue with the ventilation was solved quickly. Nice pool. Very good wifi.

Very good hotel, cheapest laundry ever! Staff is nice and room confortable. Location is average as it is a 20 min walk from the city center but there are parking there if you have a car. Nice pool & gym

The room we stayed is quite spacious, clean and good facilities. We even got two Espresso coffee machines. Helpful staff.

Not every lake view wing side rooms has lake view.

We came in a summer and stayed at the top floor on the lake view wing. I am a bit surprised to see there is no air con installed in our room. So during day time, it is very very hot and does not feel too comfortable to stay inside. We called the reception and staff brought us a fan and it did not help very much. Just something to keep in mind when you book.

Great place to stay. Rooms were quiet and clean. Nice pool, hot tub, and sauna. I didn't use the workout room. But it looked good. The bartender was an extremely nice guy and all the staff were very helpful. I totally recommend it. :)
