Can't really fault this place! Absolutely AWESOME location and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable with it's own ensuite (which had plenty of room) and it had it's own fridge and microwave. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk was supplied (and replenished) during my stay. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was VERY comfortable - I really had a good sleep! The view from the kitchen is fantastic, looking onto and across the lake with a backdrop of mountains. Highly recommend this place and I will definitely be staying there on my next trip to Queenstown. (The room was nice and warm too thanks to a quiet heatpump).

I stayed at Absoloot in Queenstown for one night and it's great value for money! Free wifi everywhere, en-suite fridge and bathroom, very clean and lit bedrooms, drinking is allowed in the lounge area and some free tea/coffee and cereal in the kitchen. Great service and amazing location too!

Really nice well equipped hostel, my only complaint would be that it was very noisy outside during my Saturday night stay, other nights we're fine. They do provide free ear plugs of you want them though.

Amazing facility right in the centre of town, next to the docks. Great people and good, clean rooms.

Nice and cozy rooms, got a nice view in the kitchen at level 2. Friendly and lovely staff. It's a good location and everything is in town. Won't feel boring walking in town. Definitely recommend this hostel to my friends and family!!

Excellent location, easy to walk around to the dock and Fergburger. Only problem is that it may be noisy at night due to the location.

Ver very very cool place to stay the wifi was very fast and the room was very comfortable with hot air conditioner, the kitchen very well equipped, and the design of the backpacker makes you feel like at home sincerely the best backpacker that i have ever been
Central location close to the center of the town
The front desk guy allow us o stay a lot and use the kitchen and the wifi after the check out

Crazy nice view from the kitchen. Friendly staff. Conviently placed outlets right next to your bunk. Nice games room for when you just need to chill out

Very good here. An up best place. Beautiful views in the heart of Queenstown centre. Helpful staff. WiFi is a little awkward to use and you have to keep resetting it. Plenty of services and facilities.

Very nice kitchen with amazing views. Common rooms slightly lacking though, apart from the kitchen the only other common room is essentially part of reception.
Rooms kept clean with daily cleaners, ski racks work fine, otherwise a good value pleasant hostel to stay at. Best part about it was the central location, made Queenstown with no car a breezeresponse / report this review -

Beautiful lake view location, especially view from dining room/kitchen. Very friendly staff and helpful. Kept our luggage, before checking in/out until we arrived/departed. Reasonable price for 3 adults with own bathroom. Bunk beds were comfortable and clean. Central location for all shopping/tourist/restaurants. Local marketplace on weekend by lake. Had a wonderful time in Queenstown and Milford Sound- breath taking views!
