The owner was very rude to me. Her staff also complained to me of her shouting at them and underpaying them, way below award rates.

Like a home, everyone is very kind and lovely.
They even have a big backyard behind. Bbq equipment is there for used.
However the waterheater is not function well, get shocked with d cold water suddenly while having a hot hower and it happen during winter time.response / report this review -

Walked up to the entrance way and it was pretty dirty, a grubby old phone hanging off the wall with a piece of paper and a number to ring to get inside, walked in and it looked like the place was about to collapse around itself, dirty old worn out carpet from the 8o's, found a staff member who was polite enough. pointed to the direction of the room told us it was unlocked. walked into the room and nearly fell over at the stench of must and dampness, wall paper hanging off the walls, nothing looked liked it had been cleaned in months, an inch thick in dust under the bed and I'm not exaggerating, even the bed side lamp was filthy, we actually just got up and left and went and found somewhere else to sleep it was that awful, forfeited the $149.00 and left. I've stayed in motorcamps for less and in 10 times the condition. Would not recommend this place at all till its overhauled.

Perfect hostel if you look for a place just out of the center, but not too far, you can walk there easy. The hostel is not right for you if you're looking for a party hostel. The wifi is also a big plus!

Stayed here due to excellent 5 star reviews from tripadvisor only to find all 5 star reviews were faked by one off review accounts. This place needs renovation, shower room was dirty and old, shower room windows were not blocked out properly with the stained window peeling off making it see-though. There is no car park, was told to park outside and ignore any parking tickets. When requested to pay by credit card, they said there would be a 4% surcharge which should be illegal! Only good thing is walking distance to city center and you get what you pay for. Just annoyed of the fake reviews that made us stay at this place.

It has the necessary to make it a comfortably enough stay. Great mattresses. Small kitchens and some of the basics missing. There is sometimes a strange vibe to the place, but it can have great people staying. Ideal for someone who enjoys a quite hostel.
