Although I didn't stay here the staff were extremely helpful and understanding of my predicament having booked into another near-by but unacceptably maintained apartment complex. I was given the courtesy of being able to inspect a far superior room to that which I had pre payed for and been allocated on their 'first in best dressed' but unreasonable policy. Had I not been given the courtesy of being moved into a 'better' room I would have been more than happy to forfeit my booking and relocate here. I would recommend highly just on the understanding and generous manner I was treated.

Nice spot, definitely close to everything without it being right in the centre of everything. So outside noise is low. The view I had was amazing but honestly nothing special. It's kind of weird as it's on the side of the hotel looking out I see a side street. I have to walk out onto the balcony to see the view and then again only from 1 specific angle.
Also my room had a connecting door so as I found out, early night in turned into a latish night listening to the neighbours talking and watching TV. Then sleep in turned into early morning wake up calls from the neighbours again.
If I could do again I probably wouldn't pay the extra for the "views". Hotel staff were nice and informative and also waived my parking fee's because of the noise which was nice.response / report this review -

Staff are nice, service is good and also housekeeping cleanliness. They gave us a lake view room upgrade for being a part of their loyalty program so you should probably join that for special offers. Location - Fantastic means only 500m from the Supermarket, 500m from the Botanic Gardens and 300m from the City Centre. (I consider it The Mall)
The facilities could be better; all there is is a crowded gym in a miniature room that is always cold. No sauna or pool/spa.response / report this review -

Nice clean rooms, amazing views of the lake and the Remarkables. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is great with most restaurants, bars and shops within a 5 minute walk. Also it's only about a 5 min walk to the ski station if you are taking the bus up to the snow. Would stay again.

Lovely hotel. Fantastic location. My room had a great lake view from a balcony. Very comfortable and quiet. Great sleep. Lovely bar, restaurant and gym. Though I used none of them. Very friendly and helpful staff. Luggage storage facility too.

We stayed in the Suite.. room 601, while it was adequate it wasn't really 'suite' worthy. Definitely needs updating, along with the tiny single sink bathroom, and the awful shower curtain/over bath combo and the hot/cold water. the fact there is a plant room right next to room 601 makes for a very noisy room. if I was staying here again I would just opt for a lake view room. However I couldn't fault the car parking (valet) and the customer service. Being right at the water front was definitely a bonus but next time we'd probably Choose a suite in a different hotel. Queenstown istelf more than made up for the disappointing room.

Amazing service and great views - came here to propose to my gf and mentioned it in the booking. They called me to discuss if I need anything, upgraded my room and then decorated my room after it. Amazing service, can't praise them enough!! I hope they liked the pizzas I ordered for the staff ;)

Was only in the lobby while waiting for a bus, but it was beautifully decorated. Bathroom was clean and nice.

My wife ad I stayed for 2 nights. We were very pleased with hospitable service by all staff from the time we arrived right through to checkout. The hotel is in a perfect location to Queenstown township. Room and hotel very clean. We stayed March 2014.

The wifi is a lie-fi 45 minutes of free internet is all they offer. Is it 2001!? Answer: No, it is 2017. Bad form Crowne Plaza.
