Beautiful setting. Really enjoyed the table tennis and other games on offer. Great spread at the breakfast buffet. Lovely touches in the rooms, like crystals and tips on how to relax and be present in the moment.

Very comfortable and a good price. I would definitely go back.
Edit: back for a second visit. Loving it. Restaurant has fantastic food. Comfortable atmosphere. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

Great place and location to stay. Very helpful staffs and I'm naming especially Will and Tamara who went above and beyond as our flight was potentially being cancelled due to weather held our rooms until we receive further notice from the airline. Highly recommended!

I went to check out the bar for 'locals happy hour', as advertised in the lobby. The unhelpful bartender completely ignored me and served 7 others who walked in after me. When I finally got to order a beer, he told me that there was only one beer on special for 'happy hour', and it wasn't the one he had poured me. "That will be $9.50 mate". Thanks mate! The beer selection isn't great either. Not worth going out of the way to stop here.

Really amazing what they've done with the place - a cleverly revamped 1985 motel - interesting decor - lots of clever touches - very relaxing and cozy - great service - world class restaurant plus local music venue - sauna and yoga. The different wings of Sherwood (seperate room blocks) offer quite varying types of room. But all good. Unique.

Unique music and restaurant venue for Queenstown. Sherwood has a great ambiance and a bit of funk to it. They consistently get good live music, the food menu is simple but good and can be matched with interesting organic and naturally made wines. Well worth a visit.

Nice play to stay even simple country concept. helpful housekeeping, friendly staffs, spacious room even no TV inside but I love the great lake scenery, especially from the mini garden behind the hotel! Wifi is good, so not so boring even without a TV in the room. 4 nights I stay thereI love the peaceful atmosphere in Sherwood.

Love coming here for coffee&cake. Food menu for breakfast and lunch aren't that exciting, as they don't have many options and don't seem to change the menu very often. But to be fair, the food do taste good here. Lovely atmosphere. Very peaceful.

Loved this hotel. Very unique vibe, absolutely beautiful restaurant and bar. We walked to town- the walk along the water was really nice, a flower lined bike path the whole way. The yoga studio and coffee alone were with worth the stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Great location for driving to local hikes, close to the airport too.

Good views but not within walking distance of the town centre. No TV however the wifi is excellent! Check in (3 pm) could be earlier. Beds are very comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. All in all a good stay.

We stayed at Sherwood for 4 nights. It is a pretty nice place to stay but the distance from the city makes it impractical to walk. Fortunately, there is a bus that comes regularly. Wednesdays they host a small farmer's market where you can buy things like fresh eggs, wine, avocados, and bread. The kitchens are stocked with the bare essentials. Our frying pan was pretty terrible but functional. This is the first apartment hotel that I have had to wash my own dishes which was odd. All together I would recommend. It is far enough from downtown that the nights are quiet. The beds are very comfortable.
