  Great place to stay. It's an old house so it's not very updated, but it was a nice hostel.

  Clean, friendly staff, close to the stunning botanic garden, museum And town.
  Small bathroom, needs improvement. Have to walk thru the kitchen to get there. Horribly noisy doors of the bedrooms. Because they close automatically the doors are banging constantly. Got wrong information from a staff which was very annoying.

  I stayed there on 2013 and I do not recommend. A blonde guy who was the receptionist was very very rude. He came into the bedroom more than one time without knock the door just to open and close the window. he didnt even look at my face or asked me excuse. If you are changing your clothes could be a very uncomfortable situation. He corrected my English in a very rude way but I didn't asked him for that. Another point is the bedrooms are upstarts and bathrooms downstairs so you have to go through the kitchen to get the shower

  A nice dry, warm quiet spot right in the heart of Christchurch. Can't be beaten on value.

  Historical place. It has all amenities of a YHA but in an old and historical place close the center and the Hagley park, in front of Canterbury Museum.

  Superb location - museum, art gallery, pickup points are all walkable. Free high-speed wifi, and if that's not enough, it's under a Spark Wi-Fi zone too!

  Stayed here two nights for a trip with a club at my school, it was really nice! Beds were very comfortable and the building is a close walk from many places downtown, but the kitchen was a bit small for our group.

  Cozy YHA located near the museum. Great for exploring the city but not my favorite YHA.

  Good location, and nice lay-out and free well working wifi!Bathrooms on the ground floor which I find inconvenient. Only one toilet for entire hostel on the floor where everyone sleeps. Unfriendly staff. Overall OK.

  l had left my phone and wallet with a lot of cash when I check out.
  An hour later, I came back to backpack. They gave me back my stuff safely.
  I'd like to say thanks a lot again.
