A nice hotel/lodge close to the city center. We have visited it several times, one time during Halloween, that was fun. The rooms are clean and the people friendly.

Good, clean accommodations. Room was well appointed. Location in the city was ideal. Temperature was very difficult to control for an American accustomed to air conditioning though. The small fan provided just didn't allow for enough air flow. The large kitchen / lounge area in the basement was very nice.

Excellent staff :) Had them help me out with a birthday surprise and they definitely came through. Room was very clean. If you're after large floor spaces, this may not be for you, but it was perfect for us. We got the triple room and fit comfortably. The lodge is also situated in a realy good location if you want to walk around Central Auckland.
Complaint: wish there was a place inside the shower I could put my shampoo bottle and bar of soap on.
Other than that, very happy with this place!

Love this place.

Well equipped and spacious kitchen,
big TV screen in common area,
table tennis table,
sofas to chill,
dinning tables for groups to meal together,
Outside areas for beer,
Food & drinks vending machines

All facilities are clean.
Helpful & friendly staffs.
U can even borrow a adapter if u forgot to bring.I got to buy that when I stay with another hotel later of that trip

Compared to other hotels in Auckland, it was worth the price. The interior of the rooms looks not so modern but it was decently clean and they provided enough towels. The en-suite bathrooms are a must for any hotel so it is good they exist here. The downside is that the walls are pretty thin and you can hear people talking in the next room, which can be very annoying if they decide to talk all night long Also they only provide frozen meals on demand, so don't expect good food here, but luckily it's not far to Karangahape road which has all kinds of restaurants.
